i went there yesterday and tru there is no comp but there are people there that is willing to learn the games. tvc is a good cab imo but there have to switch the P and C botton around. i should talk the guy into getting ah2 lol. i think in that croud it will do more than tvc b/c of all its varients. sf4 machine is not bad

Yeah because of the distance I was primarly going to Peter Pan to practice SF4 but between the american set up and the stupid clock…anddd the way the chinatown players came and killed it Im strictly headed to Chinatown…even though I know Im going to burn thru dollar bills like a strip club…
i talked to the guy that works there about the tvc bottons not right. looked like it went in one ear and out the other. so close to me but so not worth it
Yea the timer is bad but its still worth going for practice, and ive been playing at CTF since it came out in august. With that being said im going here on Sat for some practice and to test some stuff out, then its off to CTF on Monday :wonder:
This place is a lot more convenient for me to travel to.
However, because of the sticks and timer, I probably won’t set foot in here again. Even if another tourny pops up.

I’m going to head to Peter Pan tonight (saturday jan.31st) to play some marvel. I’ll be there around 6pm.
I also might check out sf4 and tvc.
You might not wanna play SF4 there, bad set up.
So played some marvel… Unfortunately no comp, sticks are pretty bad, but good enough to play on. Cabinet was downgraded since last time I was there. Used to be on the big one.
Played some sf4, first time playing and it was pretty enjoyable, I can’t see myself getting heavy into it but definitely something i can play around with when no one around to play marvel.
Played some TVC for the first time, definitely much slower than I expected but still worth playing around with while waiting for marvel comp.
Overall I was happy to be at Peter Pan, I have a lot of fond memories from that place back when SF2 first came out.
Everyone should meet up together to talk to the owner(Main worker) of Peter Pan about what are the popular games that will make him more money and how they should fix buttons and settings…

I’ve been to Peter Pan once (now that I remember), and it has so much potential for people who live far from CTF…
I actually was wondering if we could do something like that because I know there is better comp at CTF but damn if the owner just changed some things I could use the $20 I spend for transportation and put it into playing games…Id be down if we did get a group together…maybe even convince him to get Blazblue:wgrin:
This guy is not the owner or the guy in charge. The owner is actually a really nice guy and a decent Guile player. He is usually there on weekday afternoons/evenings and he will usually be fixing the controls, moving the machines around, or installing new games. He is the guy you want to be talking to.
I think there are many players here, but unfortunately not everyone is on the same schedule. For instance, usually I’m there on weekdays around 6:30 PM and I’ll see the same 4-5 players. If I try to get there a little earlier (like 3 PM), I’ll see different, but regular, players. I don’t go as often on weekends, so I have no idea…
