Finally IMO he’s got the coolest looking Persona and is up there with Kanji and Akihiko as one of the most badass looking characters in the game.

His surprising rarity is more likely due to his fighting style being very standard more than anything.

Hoping for some console exclusive character. The rosters small, but I can understand that especially with the work Arcsys puts into their sprites, but two or three more characters would be nice. Still, really looking forward to this.

But yeah, from what I’ve seen, Yu seems pretty standard, haven’t seen much from him combo-wise/tactic-wise. It’s definitely early days though, and if I ever get my hands on the game, he’s the one I plan to main, since he’s a total badman. But everyone just looks really good so far, I’m really impressed.

And yeah, I’d like to see a few more chars as well hopefully.

Lol, one of the better quotes about Yu was during the Culture Festival. Margaret calls him a Gigolo. So good.

How popular do you guys think this game will be in the FGC? It already has a tournament at SBO and I’m sure that a good deal of BB/GG people will play it… it certainly won’t come close to Capcom FG popularity, but I’m hoping it’s around the same as BB/KoFXIII.

Those were excellent matches. It’s pretty funny how much you have to respect Naoto once the fate gauge reaches 0. Practically anything can be converted into a kill. Can’t wait to play as her.

Looking at the comments on that Kaqn vs Shadow vid, it looks like it didn’t combo from the burst, Kaqn just didn’t tech or something.

And scratch what I said about Yu, just saw a 2on2 with 3 Yu players lol. And Jourdal’s uploaded some interesting Yu matches as well. In the 2nd and 3rd video, I’m beginning to see flashes of potential lockdown with Yu’s Persona. Yu also seems to have somewhat quick overheads too.
