The anime is out, plus a manga
Is there an english guide or article describing the mechanics of this game? and how naoto’s instant kill stuff works?
I think it’s setting up Labrys story-wise for the console release. The last bit is her accepting her shadow, causing her persona to appear. As for fighting Labrys before S. Labrys, I doubt it, otherwise bolopitt probably would have mentioned it. (That’s him playing the game)
Of course I do. :V And w/ GGAC+ heading to PS3/360, it’s not changing any time soon lol.
The Hiimdaisy comics. >_> But more seriously, the anime. Though you might have to Wikipedia Persona 3 to know those characters. But I’d recommend to anyone to try the games. My interest in P4A got me to finally try them and I found them amazing.
For some standard gameplay/mechanics stuff, there’s this thread over on MM. For Naoto’s stuff, do you mean her sniper astral or Mudoon (the darkness beam instant kill)? Either way, for Naoto info there’s this [S]totally awesome and amazing[/S] thread on DL (yes I’m a shameless whore  ) and this thread on MM.
They actually put Mudo in this game AND made it a beam? I’m already scared to fight that character and the game isn’t even out yet.
Well at least they have to work for it, but since they only restore some of the mudo points in between rounds, she probably would leave you low and take you out when you’re fresh the next. Though in the vids above her instant kill is pretty hilarious and the dude playing her literally landed it like 5 out of 6 times.
Cripes, this game is a mess of mechanics. Every single button combination has an action? Dodge, focus and three kinds of burst? Status effects? Universal overhead + launcher, and universal command sweep? Three kinds of health state? And we havent even started on Personas or character mechanics.
They make 6 button games but shove them into 4 buttons to be so called noob friendly, ending up with the exact opposite.
Awwww yeah, I can’t wait to see more info/videos on Labrys. She has a giant axe, that automatically makes her awesome.
anyone else think that Kanji will just be Day 1 “this character is broken” syndrome like Vanilla Sent? his damage is insane off a throw, but I think once the zoning characters are more broken in, he’s just gonna become “that grappler character”. I didn’t really see any of the Yukiko players leveling up her fire spells, for one.
Watch these series and you’re ready to make persona jokes with the best of them!

This is one of the only fighting games where I think every character looks fun to use and I want to learn them all.
You know what’s funny, pretty much every game not made by capcom has less than 6 buttons and a lot of them have more universal mechanics and are harder to get into.
Is it wrong that I want to main Naoto simply because she’s a short androgynous female WHO’S FUCKING VOICED BY ROMI PARK? :lovin:
Sorry, that was my inner otaku screaming.
The Hype Meter is building.

So can anyone confirm that Naoto’s IK can be dodged by simply crouching?
In a vid, a Kanji got through it just by downbacking and not doing anything at all. Funny thing is there is a match with a Chie who tried to jump over a target, until Naoto’s persona just came by and smacked her mid jump into one.
i want to love this game but I really hate IAD combos when i have to stick dash. I just suck at them.
Ill prob mess with this for fun and stick to scrubby MvC2
