Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena

aparently the only reason why there is a nesica release so far its because asw pushed for it
atlus was happy with just consoles, so an a non nesica release like BBCSII and BBCSEX its not likely on this case

lol

Sorry, the game just honestly doesn’t look that exciting.

I just hope some type of treatment for international release is done due to the console announcement.
I remember with CS2, after the announcement for console, a month later it was released for arcade outside of Japan.
Same with EX, they announced console, month later arcade for all.

Hope the same applies here :o

I just want… EVERYONE TO BE HAPPY!!! :frowning:

I can’t really put my finger on it but I’m just not seeing anything new or fun being brought to the table.

It honestly looks like equal parts GG and BB thrown into a blender with a tiny, tiny amount of Jojo’s thrown in for good measure.

You take the Persona folks out of this game you probably wouldn’t give this a second glance :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry, can’t help that. Chie beats me.

Oh that’s quite fine, I’ve done that with other games for sure.

This is why I don’t have any attachment to the game and look solely at the game play.

:stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll admit that the reason I’m interested is because it’s a Persona fighting game, but it helps that it’s made by Arc Sys and not some random company that doesn’t know what they’re doing.

Ive never played Persona but still interested in it.

I think missing out on a potentially good game because it doesn’t completely bring something new to the table is a pretty shitty reason in my opinion, but it’s up to you.

I know that’s for a special version of the character, but I really wish that was the standard for mirror matches.

I want to main Naoto. She looks like she has a nasty zoning game and can still hold her own up close. It seems like she can delay her persona from coming out, like she holds her hand out, her persona appears and disappears, then a second or two later, it does a 3 hit combo at the opponent, even when full screen. I wonder if you can snag it when it’s coming at you, do you get put into hitstun when your persona gets hit?

The second round of the first match is hilarious.

And he does it again! Whenever the Naoto player plays, he always seems to nail the instant kill. 12:25 onwards is hilarious. The funny thing its not the Mudoon (that looks like a skull super), I think its just her IK.

This match shows what Mudoon looks like

Well, no, that’s not true.
I hate Persona 3 and 4 and weeaboo shit, but this looks interesting!!

IT LOOKS INTERESTING!!!

Nah, your Persona getting hit doesn’t inflict damage or hitstun on your character. However, your character getting hit while your Persona is out inflicts damage on the Persona.

Also, calling Persona “weeaboo shit” = LOL

C’mon, man!

It’s basically like they re-made HNK… but decided to omit the NBA, and include Shuu.

In other words, awesome!

um
has anyone explained how they access their personae?

Persona 3 crew could only do it with dark hour
Apparently the midnight channel is back for some reason?

Chibi is looking at things through Skullgirls tinted glasses.

but…
… SG only brings the infinite detection to the table, outside that you can say that the game doesnt offer anything new :open_mouth:

Wait… Are you implying that completely customizable assists and a ratio system in a tag team fighting game aren’t innovative enough to you ? :stuck_out_tongue:

You’ve been saying that for everything that isn’t Skullgirls, goddamn.

EDIT: Slightly retracting that, had the thread tab inactive for hours.
Its just that you sound really unmotivated to play.

What’s the best way to get caught up on the Persona series without playing the games?
