As cool looking as it is, if this game has Blazblue throws (7 frames startup + 13 frames of “!”) it can kiss my ass and Arcsys will only get my money when GG comes out.

why do people cry so much about negative penalty, geez. Even if its in here, the game looks incredible and it probably wont be as bad as you guys think it is.
Family Fun, Japan Arcade, I hope you guys import one of these machines. Can’t wait to play this. I never played Blaze Blue (been out of the scene for a long time) so this will be all new gameplay wise to me, I suppose.

Your seriously telling me that negative penalty doesn’t affect the game? It’s redundant mechanic in game where mixup-based rushdown is extremely powerful. There is absolutely no need for it. Giving the players more options to zone is a good thing. It’s bad enough that they make backwards ground/air dashes slower and shorter than the forward ones.

so far neither GG or BB have been affected in a negative way for having this mechanic, you can zone and run away just fine, the difference is that you have to know how to do it and not do it brainlessly since now you have a risk attached to it
