To help allieviate fears I will say that the “one button comboes” are in fact people playing the game on a simple mode like setting, so people worrying about depth can breathe a sigh of relief.
However even in normal mode, the game seems to be going against using complicated motions for moves, so that fans of the series who aren’t into fighting games can pick up and play it.
An example in case people haven’t realized it yet nome of the characters on the entire game have dragon punch motions for activating their moves. Other motions that aren’t in the game include :360: motions, :hcb: motions and :hcf: motions.
Oh great, way to make the arcade version obsol… OH GOD A ROBOT WITH AN AXE BIGGER THAN HER OWN BODY GIMME GIMME GIMME!
I don’t really see that as a big deal. Complicated stick motions don’t make the game complex. Sometimes getting thru execution barriers can be a pain.

i like the simplified controls…but i have a feeling IAD combos will be in this game and i hate that shit when its stick dashing
