Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena

Everytime Marlin says he found something that broke the game…it’s just something decent. LOL. The guard break stuff that he said was going to break Marvel before that he found is stuff that you could basically do with less risk in Marvel 2 any way.

This is a different game…but I feel it’s the same shit. We’ll see.

"failed to break the game. but i guess ive got some new chie mixup tools from it."

So, IAD is air dashing the moment you get in the air?

Also regarding my earlier question about Oki, I am surprised no one mentioned Labrys. Hers looks very strong to me, especially combined with the damage she gets from it.

IAD is instant airdash, an airdash done instantly after leaving the ground. Input :uf:~(neutral)~:f:

You would know that you are doing it right when you see that you are air dashing very close to the ground

I keep forgetting there’s a hop button in this game, I swear. Otherwise I’d try a bunch of things from it, like seeing if I could IAD off that.

Just curious, is there anyway to reset your online stats in this game?

lol I guess it doesn’t really matter, but it’s strange that they keep track of your player match statistics and not just ranked.

You can’t IAD off of that by the way.

I cannot dash from a hop myself, probably not possible. Hop seems like a great mechanic. Does not seem too useful for my character though.

So I will be busy with life for a while, but once my paychecks roll in I was thinking that I could buy a great router and recording equipment. My plan would be to host and record matches in a lobby containing strong players here who do not have access to recording devices themselves. I would then upload the best of those matches to youtube weekly as a means of publishing their talent and such.

Would this be cool? Do people already do this?

Hop isn’t really a good tool. It can bait throws but it’s more so useful against Liz or kanji for when they paralyze you that way you daren’t bound to the ground and have to eat a command throw.

The only thing you can do from a hop is attack and you can only do that at the peak of the hop or after.

Hop has recovery frames on landing.

Is Yosuke strong at defeating zoners and the like? Thinking I main Labrys and keep him in my pocket.

I hope this doesn’t spark some retarded argument but lol@ all the hate this game is now getting on streams (I know, I know).

When it came out, everything else was getting shat on because everyone liked P4A so much. Now, it’s the complete opposite. Weird.

I don’t really have a point with this, I just think it’s ridiculous.

Wait, who are the people hating on it? Why will they wanna hate on it?

stream monster mentality plus not for nothing but marvel has seriously skewed things for ANY other game.

Stream monsters of course.
I only mentioned it because these are the same people who were sucking the dick of the game and not wanting ANYTHING ELSE ON BESIDES P4A last week.

Stream monsters will hate on the the game and be elitist while hating on it because that’s what stream monsters do. A stream monster’s existence is based on shitting on something, or someone. It detracts and distracts them from whatever insecurities they’re currently having as they pass it off as “naw man, it’s just fun to talk shit on things and trash stuff”. For whatever reason, it’s more difficult for them to just be positive overall and focus on the things that they like, than to bitch bitch bitch. Only way a stream monster ever doesn’t bitch is when they’ve brought people down to their level of misery.

Personally, I don’t give a flying fuck if the Stream Monsters hate the game or not. I know Persona 4 Arena’s a good and solid fighting game with good mechanics. If a bunch of insecure, and whiny fuck-dumbasses hate on the game for “stopping Arcsys from getting things started on another Guilty Gear!” or for being “LOL Weabo pedos!!” because they’re not comfortable enough with themselves to allow it a shot on account of having little in the way of legitimate complaints, then that’s fine by me.

They can whine about everything and kill their credibility and get themselves known as “those guys who complain about everything” or get mad that they’re having trouble learning the game, but they don’t take away from the quality of the game itself. I like the game, lots of people like the game, and it’s been received well with people saying things ranging from it “reminding them of Guilty Gear” to it “being like Marvel if it was a 1 on 1 game” to it pretty much being “Guilty Gear meets Marvel”, and I’m okay with all of those comparisons because people are allowed to like the game for different reasons.

Maybe I just stopped giving a shit about Stream Monsters because of all the flak I’m used to getting on account of playing Blazblue, but we shouldn’t let people who hate on our game because it’s “the cool thing to do” or because the game’s “the new thing” decide for us how good the game is. If they can’t figure out how to play it and lose, don’t want to give it a try because of art style, or simply will stick with their 1-2 games and those 1-2 games only, then that’s their loss. I’m going to continue playing the game because I like it, and keep recommending it to my friends because I think they’ll like it too, and really, playing a good game because you enjoy it is all that matters at the end of the day. As long as the community stays strong and doesn’t let shit like that get to us, then it’ll pass when they find something else to bitch about and we’ll be fine.

Very well put, couldn’t have said it better myself.

I’m watching The Big 2 and Chie looks truly awful and agonizing to deal with. God damn…

I found my life has been a lot more chill once I started popping out the stream. No hassle.

Can’t wait until a new GG comes out and all the stream monsters start whining that it’s too hard and broken because the GG vets are destroying them.
