im probably picking this up today or tomorrow i kinda liked blaze blu hopefully this will get some love

switched to japanese immedietly. No original Chie/Teddie, no sale for english VA’s. That and I’m accustomed to the japanese voices from watching the anime. I wish I could just use Nanako’s english voice.

Elizabeth is just about as awesome to play as I thought lol. But man out of all the characters I think I get my Persona broken the most with her.

That’s pretty much the case with anyone who plays Elizabeth.

I’m not going to complain about the English voices because it’s a bad dub, but because the Japanese cast is better and your choice is wrong. This game is pretty damn stacked on voice talent in Japanese.

The idea of ever consciously choosing to not have Tomokazu Seki yell battle cries is just inane.

Played for a few hours today.

Don’t like how everyone ‘hits’ (or how hits feel) in this game.

Also think the game as a whole is unnecessarily convoluted.

Still somewhat fun.

By doing what is recommended here, that doesn’t work. I’m guessing there’s a trick to the way charging works in this game? Like a different way of forming a charge petition.

No, you just have to delay enough that you have a charge. The trick is that the dash gets immediately crouched out of, so you “slide” forwards and do the 2B, something made easier by dash splitting around the OMC because then you don’t have to hit 656[2]~B super-fast after the OMC, but rather just 6[2]~B (keep in mind that you can use down-forwards instead if you want). If you delay the B input correctly, you’ll get the mirror when you go up to 8 and press C afterwards. You might also have to buffer part of the charge on the hitstop of the 2B; this is a common trick for ASW charge characters and was used very heavily by both Venom and May (especially May) in GG. Also, keep in mind that dash links are generally on the hard side of things in ASW games, and that’s essentially what that challenge is.

What I love about this game is they’re not offering you characters as DLC.

It’s actually really easy, this game has an auto dash feature after OMC if you keep pressing 6 or even 3 when doing it, allowing Mitsuru to keep her down charge while dashing. So in this combo you just need to do [3]AB > OMC > [3]B > 8C…

It has auto dash after OMC? Man, I made that one way too hard for myself, haha.

Is there anyway to combo into teddie’s instant kill?

if this game had partitioning it’d be beast.
that was probably the second thing i checked. and unless i was completely messing up (possible) it doesn’t.

Charge partitioning? Wouldn’t that simply make Mitsuru stronger?

my bad i didn’t mean if they just threw that system in with everything as is.
i meant it’s a great mechanic for charge characters and just feels better.

but yeah i guess if they didn’t design her with it in mind she’d have some new options and all sorts of wacky stuff probably.

She’s already got great frame traps. Charge partitioning would make life hell for those who already have trouble dealing with that.
