I am 99% sure almost all of them won’t make the list. There are already screens in the magazine pics of the Character Select screen and there’s only 10 slots. Even if you consider later additions it’s probably 14 at the most for this first iteration of the game, assuming there will be more in the future anyway.
It’ll probably be the P4 playables, Aigis, and Elizabeth/Margaret. Disappointing, I want Adachi, but…
That’s only 9 characters. (Unless you think they’re going to include Elizabeth and Margaret.)

There probably will be a few more characters added into the console version that won’t be in the original arcade release. I’m thinking 14 will be good enough to start off with, before we start going into DLC territory that will affect the console and arcades versions alike.
I know nothing about Persona, but I have a friend or two who really love those games. And now I know what to bribe them with… LOL.
Arksys makes quality games anyway, so I might even give this one a try.

I could see a few balance patches and maybe a couple DLC characters as long as it doesn’t flop. I’d be very surprised if it became an ongoing franchise though. (Pleasantly surprised of course.)

Number seem to indicate percentages or points. I’m assuming each stock of meter is worth 25.
That said, in other shots, both players both have 4 stock meters. I wonder what it would take to add those two extra slots/stocks. That said, I do notice that in the regular, 4 stock mere, there are two dark marks which I assume turn to those two extra stocks later on.
Also, part of me wants to think that the “diamonds” count wins and the sets being played in those screenshots are actually ft5.
I wouldn’t be expecting any characters outside of P4 and P3. I wouldn’t be surprised if the story mode for this ties up that loose end from Persona 3… which is the MCs fate. So Aegis + Elizabeth for the P3 Characters… and I’m sure they’ll throw in Mari as well their new P4Golden character and looking @ her clothes she has something to do with the Velvet room…
They already tied up the loose ends in P3 with The Answer though. We know exactly what happened to the MC and the whole point of The Answer was to reaffirm that it was not meant to change.
Game will be playable @ TGS if you didn’t catch it already.

Son of a bitch why can’t I still be in japan to play this at TGS. I’m really hoping this actually pans out to be a serious game and not a quick cash-in like the naruto & dbz games. Or atleast look fluid in motion and not like it was animated using stop-motion like in BB
