iirc you can just crouch to dodge it…I might be wrong but I’ve seen it happen lotsa’ times. Hopefully no one online catches on early LOL.
No I’ve figured out that much, it’s just such a weird move to me. I have a hard time telling myself to crouch when someone is jumping at me, you know. I’ve only gotten to play a couple of brief matches though, so once I get more time in it should be easier to react to.
SHIT, YOU HAVE? How was it?? Is it as awesome as the hours of footage make it out to be? Man, this is the game to end all fighting games IMO. With a bigger focus of fighter fundamentals compared to BB, it’s perfect in my eyes.
Well Yu is the hero/shoto type in this game, correct? If yes then he should be pretty popular. I come from a heavy shoto background in the SF series so he’s the guy I’m going to start this game with when I get it.

Have they released any info on the netplay like lobbys spectator mode etc ?
It’s ASW, so you should probably expect the same features as BBCT / CS / EX and AH3.

I honestly wasn’t giving this game much attention when it was initially revealed. I was interested, but I was expecting it to be sort of like the first installation of BlazBlue: fun, but with a roster plagued with terrible matchups. So, I ignored the game in it’s early arcade life.
Now, it’s console release draws near, so I found myself looking back into it, to see if anything changed. Maybe my fears would have been erased, or maybe not. I can happily say that my fears have been wiped away. From what I’ve read, the game is actually pretty balanced in it’s current state. There may be bad matchups, but so long as every character can stand a fighting chance no matter who the opponent, that makes for a fighting game that I want to play. I’ll be playing this one day one.
On a side note, I’m glad that most of the P4 english cast is back, as well as the P3 english cast. My only gripe, is Labrys. I otherwise wouldn’t mind her voice, but…WHY does she have an accent?
Looking forward to this, especially using Mitsuru (she so classy).
This year has been a Finest K.O on my wallet with all the good games (fighting or otherwise). I think I may have to make a separate bank account for gaming.

I guess my knowledge of voice accents must be very minuscule. The only character of whom I recognize having an accent(in english) is Labrys. To me,–and I reiterate, I guess I have a low knowledge of accents-- it sounds like she has a New York accent. It sounds really out of place on her in my opinion. That’s just me, though. It certainly won’t bug me enough to change the voice to Japanese, but it still does bug me.
