a lot of people hate bb. you know that every bb player i know doesn’t even like bb. some are really biased about it and some have good points on why they think its bad but in the end of the day they rather play something else.
There is apparently an option to customize your character appearance slightly (the example I saw was adding glasses), so maybe that’s what you’re seeing.
You can easily find countless people that hate any game, so that’s not a very good argument. You will never find a game that is universally liked.

yes BB changes a lot of stuff between iteration, but that happens because, imo they are experimenting with diferent stuff to see what works and what not, does always have good results? not necesarily like we saw with how some mechanics worked on BBCT, wich by your opinion was the more fun to play (only jin, rachel and nu players seem to think that btw) but with each iteration the game start to get a better shape, dunno what hardcore players do you talk to, but at the same time there are a lot of people that would agree with me that BB is getting better with each iteration, and by no means its a shitty game or that its deterioratin like you said, but hey i guess that in your opinion they are free to like shitty games, just because they disagree with you

You have to understand the kind of hate that Blaz is getting.
There legitimate reasons why they hate the game, and not in terms of presentation. It’s hard for me to play Blaz, and when someone talks down on it, it becomes just as hard to defend (and this is coming from a person who’s put a lot of time into the game).
I’m not trying to talk down or hate on you.
You have to grasp the reality of the situation, and understand the feedback given into the Blaz from the community itself. I will say that, gathered from what everyone has told me, they agree the Blaz series is turning into something they are not appreciating.
Granted, I exaggerated a few things (sort of), but if this is how you accept things, then go right ahead.
You just have to know that the game is taking a very odd direction, to the point where you have to question the developers, asking, “where is this game going?”

You have to understand that this is irrelevant. Opinions are opinions. Nobody cares if you and your invisible friends don’t like the game. It’s your problem, and don’t try to hide yourself behind “the community” by saying it’s what they think. It’s not. It’s what some people think, and that’s fine. Some people don’t think so, and think the game is loads of fun, and that’s fine.
Let people that like it like it, instead of bashing it. You can’t discuss or dismiss opinions over something as subjective as the fun factor of a game.
I wonder if they’re going to reuse music from the Persona games, or if Meguro is gonna remix them, or if it’s only going to be original compositions. Man, the game was announced not 24 hours ago and I’m already so impatient for more info.

Why is it based on Persona 4 only? Surely there would be a more diverse cast of characters to choose from if it combined all the games.
I’m sure there are people out there with legitimate reasons for hating the game, but I could also find plenty of people with legitimate reasons for hating Street Fighter, or Guilty Gear, or Mortal Kombat, or Marvel vs Capcom, etc. You act like Blazblue is universally reviled by the community, but it’s not. There are people that hate it and there are people that like it, both with legitimate (and not so legitimate) reasons for feeling that way.
It seems they aiming for a comprehensive story mode so it wouldn’t make any sense at all to include characters in the early persona games in it because it screw with the continuity.
There are some Persona 3 characters thrown in. It probably has to do with the series taking off with the third game.
Even if they did, they wouldn’t be the same characters anymore, since they’d be quite a bit older by now. Not that I would mind seeing what an older Eikichi is like, but I can also see some major backlash from fans if they change them in a way that they don’t like.

what kind of cancel would they use, without counting BF every FG of asw has some sort of cancel, sbx the engun cancel, hnk the boost cancel, and bb and GG the Roman/Rapid cancel, im also wondering if its going to have a comboable instant kill mechanic (sbx, hnk,) or maybe like GG or perhaps an astral finish attack like BB
It would be interesting if they made a “Persona Cancel” mechanic, a move that make your Persona do an attack while your character is free to move.
Kind of like Stand Combos from Jojo, but more as a cancel/combo extender/assist.
Checked the direct feed pics. As expected of the persona team, the visuals and art direction are top notch. Now lets hope they don’t move around like robots.
Seems like they may go with a new sound track from the way this project is shaping up.
I’m guessing it will be a number of new tracks mixed with some old. (Probably remixed versions.) Since this is based on Persona 4 they pretty much have to include a few old songs for fanservice.
