Really? Because I’ve been seeing a lot more Labrys recently. I do like seeing a good Labrys at work. Especially when they use their Fatal Counter R-Action in combos…feels good man.
More Labrys being beat by Aegis.
Yea Yosuke and Kanji are definetly the two I will main if I get this game.
The thing is though, I don’t think I have the financial ability to invest into this game when I have a strong belief that Atlus will make a sequel to it if it becomes popular. I feel they are gonna make a updated sequel if the game becomes highly popular, so I think its best to just wait until it releases, see some reviews, check the communities response to it, and then decide whether I can dish out that $60 for it.
that’s what I’ve feared. I didn’t really dig BB (even tho I love GG - and no they don’t feel similar at all).
the status stuff is also some kind of turn off. might give it a try if I can play it somewhere - as of now I don’t think it’ll be my cup of tea. also depends if the game get enough steam over here (europe).

Why does it have to have region lock… I know Australia isn’t factored into such decisions, but I can be sure there will be people running different versions down here.
Planning on running either Naoto or Aigis, not totally sure yet, wouldn’t mind playing Teddy either. Whoever ends up being the most controlling and mistake-forcing I guess haha.
This. System-wise it’s a really odd blend of GG and Jojo’s, with a bit of KoF thrown into the button layout (also shorthops and rolls, but Jojo’s has those too); the similarities to BB pretty much end with "execution is easier than GG / KoF / Jojo’s.

BB probably has the best netcode I’ve ever experienced.
its a mix of elements of BB, GG, and Jojo, but ultimately the game plays differently from those 3, even when it shares some elements of them
but if i have to pick one of the 3 i would say that its more similar to GG than BB
It’s a bit early to say that, but probably. Part of the strength of BB’s online was due to the “hold a button to repeat the normal input for up to five frames” system though, and I’m not sure if P4A has the same feature or not. AH3 also used the BB netcode, after all, and while it was pretty good, some stuff was still inordinately more difficult online (Elsa’s 2F window unblockable resets and Fiona’s 1F 360 followup to 236A 236B 236C, for example).
