I was in a room last night up against a couple of amazing Naoto players. Then, on ranked I kept running into the same couple of Akihiko players(love playing that mirror), and my old pal P4U player mashing that AoA on turbo.
Also, shoutouts to lag-abusing Kanji and Yu players. You guys wouldn’t have 70% of the wins you do if you weren’t abusing your shitty connections. Stop mashing DP on wakeup! Or better yet, keep doing it…everyone needs a few free wins. Stay free.

Anyway, I see Aki and Mitsuru so much it might as well be P3A.
Definitely Akihiko, Kanji, Yosuke and Narukami. It’s so bad.
I think my favorite thing is when Yu players do the electric slide into a C trap and get hit because the slide doesn’t destroy it.
And then continue to do it until their Fate Counter reaches 0.
What is it that these people have against learning?
Most played against is prob elizabeth, least is yukiko and mitsuru. I have only really been playing ranked though. I find on ranked i play the same people repeatedly, so i think that makes the most played characters in ranked different for everyone. I am a b rank right now, i imagine when i start playing better players the character selection will change.
At the high ranks I’m at now, I’m seeing lots of Mitsuru and Yu players…and surprisingly a number of Labrys and Naoto. I’m really not seeing any of the other characters at this rank level (around A+ to SS).
Kanji is an extremely fraudulent character but luckily I’m seeing less of him as I’m climbing the ranks…though it still makes me wonder how some Kanji players are as high rank as they really are (I run into A-S rank Kanjis that spam the air tackles still).
I’ve been seeing alot of Yu and Labrys as of late.
I’ve been fighting an insane number of Kanji players lately. Of course, I’ve almost been playing the same people, but still, a lot of Kanji players.
Used ot see a lot of Mitsuru and Yosuke players, but they seem to have dwindled as of late.
Gotten a lot of Chie’s, but since I’ve fought so many I can deal with their auto-combo shenanigans and punish them hard as either Kanji or Naoto.
Fought a couple Kanji mirror matches, which was pretty interesting. Largely about who was the most patient and smart about getting in without being blown the hell up.
HATE Akihiko when playing as Kanji or Naoto. Until I figure out his pattern and use delayed grabs to screw up his rush-down.
I’m starting to learn when I can match crap out in Liz’s chain attacks to shut her down. Armored grab FTW.
Other than that; A couple Teddies, one Shadow Labrynth, one Kisuke, one Girl-Who-Spreads-Fire-With-Fan, couple Naoto’s and I think two Yu’s. Gotten a decent variety, oddly enough.
Spent a few hours playing today, saw several of pretty much every character. I think the only ones I only saw one or two of were Labrys and Yukiko. Lots and lots of everybody else, especially Yu. The Akihiko army seems to have died down a bit.

I’ve only played this a few times but I really liked Yosuke, felt that was my character. Is he not that good? Or is there just a ton of others easier to pick up?
All the characters in this game are playable. Yosuke is a character I especially have a hard time beating.
Good to know lol. Only have a couple hours playing this but I thought Yosuke was a lot of fun and fairly easy to get some stuff going, especially for having no practice. Hoping to pick my own copy up soon.
Lately, I tend to notice that a lot of S players use Elizabeth or Labrys, which seems unusual, but maybe they like a challenge?
I’ve noticed that it’s starting to mix a little between Kanji’s and Akihiko’s now, but not many of anybody else.
Finally came to terms with my Team Fortress 2 addiction to pick up Persona again. Played online yesterday and funnily enough, the most frequent opponent was Labrys, and they were all vocaloid color.
Finally got my copy but haven’t been online yet but had some offline matches. I can see why people been hatin on the auto combos lol
I’ve fought Mits, Akihiko, and Teddy more often than anything else on XBL. Can’t wait to be playing all this weekend :rock:
Yesterday was my FIRST encounter with Naoto in the 2 months of playing this game on XBL. I swear all I find are Akihikos and Mitsurus; I get the rare Kanji or Teddie every now and then. I have yet to fight a fellow Aigis which frankly is pretty disappointing.
