sometimes i wonder if you guys can actually read or not.
what’s inherently wrong with that statement? if you saw a halle balle clone walking down the street you’d think she was black, but she’s an idiot for identifying herself as such? white people need to seriously get over themselves.
employment, goverment paperwork, applications, etc. I think the only time “mixed” was added was in the Census paperwork that I had filled out. I usually alternate between white and asian.
Strange as it may seem, not everybody believes everybody walking on the street is 100% Black or 100% White.
That’s why going by “well, they LOOK black, they MUST be black” is fucking stupid, no matter if that’s the way most people deal with “race”. You may think the kid looks as black as Wesley Snipes in a tar pit. I don’t.
Again, she’s an idiot mostly for blatantly contradicting herself, and applying a racist label to her own child.
I’m getting really angry because of the increasing number of people who think it’s cool to have an in-text signature like “imo” at the end of every post, regardless of whether the post was any kind of opinion.
And now that I think about it, that was probably it instead of “mixed.” But regardless it seems like a lot of the applications I’ve filled out lacked the option of checking more than 1 box. But again, it’s been a while so maybe you right again.
who cares what everybody believes, she does and that’s really all that matters. the bottom line is halle feels her kid is black, what’s wrong with that? and since when did “black” become a racist label?
That’s not what I’m talking about. I get my white ass banned for a month because of an abbreviation and there’s blatant racism getting thrown around and people nod their heads.
I said the “One drop” rule is inherently racist, not calling your child black.
Again, if the shoe was on the other foot–the kid was 25% white and 75% black, and she claimed she was completely white, would you feel the same?
I would think she would be just as stupid.
So would you be coming in here saying that “Black people need to get over themselves”?
