Being the winners, Americans have an easier time arguing right/wrong as far as WW2 goes. But putting morality aside you can’t even begin to compare the scale of two nuclear strikes on civilian populations to a single air raid on a military installation. It’s a little like murdering someone’s entire family for clocking you in the jaw.

This here. Of course Japan was terrible during the war, but to even compare a minor attack on a shitty military base with turning countless civilian men, women and children into melting zombies and poisoning the environment… That’s just a disgusting comparison. To suggest these acts are equal.

Now, I admit I’m not all that knowledgable about WW2… But was Pearl Harbor the only attack on US soil during the war? It’s the only one I ever hear about at least.
I mean, I can’t recall hearing any of the other allies complaining this much this long after about an attack by the axis, and they were way closer to the actual battle and probably sustained a thousand times the damage.

The Japanese players were really good sports, always helping up the American players if they were on the ground. That, them being the underdogs, and not knowing a single player on either team anyway, made me root for them.

edit: Yin, the Japanese did awful things besides Pearl Harbor. I don’t know if it makes sense to “rank” these things against nuclear war, but it’s not like all they did was attack a legitimate military target either.
