So I was looking to buy a PS2 to PS3 converter because I have a PS3 LE BlazBlue CS TE Stick. I was going to have it modded to become a PS2 stick since I already have teh Xconverter and just need a PS2 to PS3 converter…plus PS2 controllers works with almost everything via converters…lol So I hear teh top are pelican and InPin. The only thing I have against InPin is the long wait for it to get to me. Not a very patient person…I got it from my mom…its her fault lol. But I did manage to find a pelican converter online but…it looks different even though it shows the same model number.
The pic cnet used was probably just grabbed in an online search. The converter in their pic is NOT the Pelican PL6338. The body of the Pelican PL6338 converter is longer, and there is a silver sticker on its underside. If it’s the one on amazon.com for $4.99, then you are taking a chance on getting a knockoff. They are harder and harder to find for sale, and with good reason, as it is officially supported by Sony. They sell pretty quickly in our trading outlet. http://images.farbot.com/d/686-1/PelicanPL6338_Front_200.png
That’s not to say that whoever is selling it is not actually selling the real one. They probably just pulled the image off the internet as well. I owned a couple of these, and used them with a couple of HRAP2:SA’s. They work flawlessly with no lag on PS3 and PC, and also have a PS button. Hope this helps.
