PC version of MvC3 what do you think about it?

[citation needed]

Impossible to know. Possibly very little.

This is true. You can pirate TF2 and CSS just fine.

No one said it’d be unpirateable >_>. That’s unavoidable, every game gets cracked eventually. Keeping it to digital distribution does decrease the money they’d spend on the PC port, since they wouldn’t need to print CDs or boxes or ship anything.

Again, there is no official word on any of my ideas. I’m just thinking on a business level and looking at numbers. Honestly they did lose a lot of potential money. (I’ll have to double check how much SF4 was pirated)

At best, my words seem to indicate how Capcom potentially feels about this (from a financial stand point). Personally I don’t think I put TOO many words in their mouths.

I don’t want to let this one go. I know that Ono himself will ride up to my crib on a unicorn and hand deliver my copy one day.

In all seriousness though, the game will look 100x better on a current gen gaming pc then on one of those aging platforms (ah-doy!, I know), vanilla sfiv does. I am one of those silly bastards that actually pays for legitimate copies of a game to show my support. Please don’t shit on me Capcom with just an inferior xbox or ps3 copy available to purchase.

And if Capcom can figure out how to weed out the ridiculously cheap sfiv players on windows live, that would be great too.

yeah, I would take the PC version over console version anyday, even it would cost twice as much, but oh well will never happen.

I don’t get what all the fuzz is about over sf4 getting pirated so much. so what? it’s not like they can play online, and that’s the only reason to buy it on the PC.

Like even 5% of everyone who pirated it would have bought it, such bullshit.

The reason why we don’t see it is because console games are more likely to sell DLC, PC users aren’t as dumb to buy every overpriced DLC shit they get served.

They are so smart they don’t even buy the game, they just pirate it. They are so smart that they get no releases! Good job PC players. Console gamers are more likely to support the developers, so dumb.

That’s the way capitalism works, nobody is entitled to free software.

This. This a million times.

Who ever put up the PC version for pre-order on game.co.uk deserves to be raped by the Hulk, getting peoples hope up and shit.

Game put up Super Mario Galaxy up as a PC release years ago, did people really expect them to change and get this right this time?

I would like to see a PC version just for the crazy mods people would make for it.

Inferior than this imaginary port that hasn’t even been created? Sure you’re right.

Even if there was a PC port, it wouldn’t necessarily look better at all, especially if it’s not optimized for PCs in the port. Take GTA IV for example. On top of which, it’s a port, so the likelihood that even this theoretical PC version would operate on the same parameters as the console versions is high.

Dumping on the console versions with no factual reasoning at all, what a great way to drum up support for your cause! (not)

LOL, what? Yeah, keep holding your breath for this, just like with Ono and the Unicorn.

LOL, Pretty much.

A PC version would be nice (MvC3 on laptops would be so godlike), but I’m really not that broke up about not having one, and I have no sympathy for PC gamers who would refuse to buy it on console, especially while playing the “inferior” card. Same song and dance for years now, you’d think they’d get used to the fact that if you don’t commit to grabbing a console or two, you’re just not going to have access to many of the console games that companies put out. At least until the emulators come out.

Same as it ever was. Nobody should be surprised if any console game doesn’t have a PC port, especially if it isn’t a shooter.

Ultimately, if they’re going to port MvC3 to anything aside from PS360, make mine an Arcade version. Coin-Op’ing MvC3 down at University Pinball would be bloody outstanding.

Its being coded with the MT Framework (2.0) engine. So the Pc version should be comparable to the lost planet 2 port (an actual Capcom game on the very same platform) that looked better on the PC. Not dumping, lamenting…

I know me and at least 3 of my friends that would love it just because it’d be easier to hook up diffrent controlers.

I would buy the crap out of it

but considering they don’t even want to do SSF4, this is not going to happen.

If they DO do ssf4… then we’re in there

I think it would do alot better if it was on Steam

Oh yeah that totally stopped Civ 5 from being pirated a thousand times over

Im glad theres no PC version planned

Why? So you don’t want someone like me to hack it for frame data, hitboxes, and custom mixes?

nah, im jus hating. if that stuff can be done on the console version id love it (someone actually did hack the PSN version of mvc2 for custom music). im not a PC gamer, so irdgaf if it comes out on PC or not, but i do think that piraters are lupinko level f@ggots

But PC gaman is dead
