I’ve played 250~ online matches already - I’ve only had lag in 5 of them. Much better than the console version in that regard. At first competition was lacking a bit, but now I’m fighting against people that are actually good. In time, as long as people stick to it, the PC version will be superior in pretty much every way.
i think that when the connection is good, its like offline, but when its bad… boy is it bad.
this game is both extremes, never in the middle
If you guys are getting lag spikes make sure you play on wired. When i play on wireless (which is most of the time cause im on a laptop and my modem is in another room) i tend to get a lot of random lag spikes. When i play wired its flawless. No lag spikes at all.
Pretty good, ,actually. Sometimes I have lag, but not so often. My big complain is with the amount of people online in Europe…
I am in Europe and from the 20 Games i played Today the longest wait Time was about 6seconds.
wtf u talking?
i open endless lobby - 1min later it is 8/8
i go to arcade mode with match finding - after the loading screen i instantly got an match
thats at 7 o clock in the morning here.
yesterday i got instant matches till i went to bed at midnight
Thanks for the impressions guys
Can anyone answer this question please? Does the game have some sort of “Quarter Match” or “Lobby” mode, where more than 2 players can play in a room and then take turns fighting each other? And when it’s not your turn, can you spectate the other guys’ matches? Please let me know, thanks
I’m still debating on whether or not to get this now. Is there any way to stop someone from continually coming into your lobby after you kick them or just don’t want to fight them over again. Hell, if you select to avoid a player in your menu does it actually work now?
Yes, it is called endless mode, pretty much does what you are looking for.
Considering the “avoid player” feature is written by Microsoft, theres a good chance it does absolutely nothing, or just crashes something.
Playing today, I ran into a lot more noobs, that or I have gotten better
One guy rage quit on me
EDIT:
Yes, I am just beastin it up on these noobs
hey guys …i have 2.00 gb ram , 1.8 GHZ processor . And on average i get around 2.5 to 3 mb speeds . Would i be able to run this game smoothly if i lower the settings ?
Yes!
The endless mode supports 8 players.
If you win, you keep on playing, of course, and if you lose, you go below the list and watche the matches untill it is your turn again.
gpu?
whats Gpu??
There are couple bugs that will probably get hammered out but so far it’s much superior than the consol versions.
While connectivity seems good, I’ve noticed that there doesn’t seem to be too many people playing, and also people are generally not very good. Of course, I’m pretty terrible myself, but I’ve been raging through the PP by poking against all the button-mashers xD
I laugh when I hear people say SF community, there’s little communication that actually goes on with people that play SF games. It would be simple to just say hey guys, let’s set up a times everyday where we all can meet online relative to our locations. 7-8 pm every night, 1-2pm every afternoon, 1-2 every morning for the late crowd, boom, dramatically increases the chances of having plenty of competition.
I dunno, most matches are just fine, but I get laggy matches a lot more on PC than on ps3. It will run smooth for the most part, then it starts to stutter a while, usually it goes away after 10+ sec, but sometimes the matches just get unplayable. I’m not really sure why, but it feels a lot more unstable than on ps3. I only play vs green bar, A grade pc’s.
On my part I can ace the benchmark with everything on max, although I keep it lower just in case (performance >quality), all latest drivers, d3doverrider etc etc, my connection is ~13mbit, 33 ms so everything should run smooth, yet it feels really unstable.
Repeated question, but my TE-S fightstick (PS) isn’t being found by the game. I go to options to configure, there is only the 8838 joystick, but all the buttons are shadowed. What’s the deal here?
