Didn’t she add a shit-load of butter in her food? Back in grade school my friends and I would watch her show and be baffled by how much she would use in her recipes.
Not a Japanese cooking show but it’s cooking related.
I realize white people can literally say whatever they want, I just wanted Debs’ opinion. Depending on where hypothetical whitedude lives he may feel comfortable with saying it (the ‘****a’ variant) or not. Whitedude that lives in affluent area will most likely not feel comfortable saying because of reactions of those around him. I say this as someone who grew up surrounded by this word flying around with no consequence thinking nothing of it and then going to college where you are in a different world and realizing the power that that word (still talking the ‘****a’ variant) has over some people and genuinely not wanted to inadvertently hurt people and purging it from my vocabulary out of respect. Also maybe not wanting to get ostrcized or maybe attacked also couldve played some part because it really was a different world at school.
I am just saying to Debs that someone who is of the affluent variety would not see any practical difference between the ‘****a’ and the ‘****er’ words. To this person they are effectively the same word (ie: effectively off limits).
Yep, just everything butter, she thinks butter is like mandatory for life then again who watches Food Network these days anyway that was years ago for me as well.
So does this mean her pots and pans going to be on super sale at stores now? I could use some more cookware. Our Rachel ray and emeril sets looking kinda used.
EVOO has some health benefits since it has more healthier fats and can also reduce cholesterol and lowers risk of Heart Disease.
But for Paula Deen, butter is like her soul and passion, I don’t think Rachael Ray would be as crazy with EVOO.
