Honestly I don’t mind the new origin, actually kind of like it. It’s different enough seeing how that’s the point of a reeboot while staying close. Only problem is no one has really done anything interesting with him.

He’s working at a Wayne R&D lab. And hes obsessed with this failed project. The project being this frozen broad named Nora who was never his wife.

In this new origin, Nora was never Fries’s wife. Her name was Nora Fields, a woman born in 1943. When Nora was 23, she was diagnosed with an incurable heart disease, so her family placed her in cryogenic stasis hoping that a cure would be found in the future. Fries, having written his doctoral thesis on Nora, took on a position as a cryogenic researcher and technician at Wayne Enterprises, the facility that housed Nora’s body.
Eventually, he fell in love with Nora and became dedicated to finding a reliable method for slowly thawing cryogenic subjects. However, Bruce Wayne ordered the project to be shut down, as he began to feel uncomfortable with Fries’ obsession with Nora. Furious, Fries hurled a chair at Wayne, who dodged the attack; the chair smashed into an array of cryonic chemical tanks, the contents of which sprayed onto Fries and transformed him into Mr. Freeze.[12]

And this is why i don’t bother with comics anymore.
Those comic companies hiring dumb motherfuckers that like to write shitty fanfic that is shoehorned on the canon.

YOu’re fucking up then, the big companies are still putting out amazing stuff along with the bad and the small publishers are doing great things.

Don’t get me wrong, i still read some stuff here and there, but from the major part i am apathetic specially if it comes from DC and Marvel because they will always find a way to fuck it up, not to mention that at this point i am quite tired of seeing the same goddamn characters over and over. Is one of the reasons why Manga >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Comics.

Homeboy would be in the same position as the guy that was selling those Power Ranger hoodies. WB would shut that shit down in a heartbeat. BUT he could do a kickstarter for it and go from there. WB can’t do nothing about that.

Mr Freeze new origin is one of the many reasons long time fans hate the N52.

In order to enjoy the new stuff you have to deal with a bunch of things you love being ruined for no good reason.

Universe being restarted isn’t a good reason for many of these changes. Exactly how the hell is an event that has nothing to do with her make her born 40 years earlier?

Only reason I ever watch CN is for Adventure time amd Regular show. Hard to believe those shows got approved, they actually have thought put into them. They also have followable timelines.
