Kabal’s block infinite is supposedly already gone from the release day patch.
We have no clue what the extent of the damage nerfs are for Ermac and Kung Lao, so idk why you’re calling one tiny. We don’t know how big the nerfs are or how big they are relative to each other.
Cyrax’s bomb trap isn’t being removed. They’re adding more techable frames to his command throw.
This was already covered in another thread, and the title is very misleading. It’s also all unconfirmed at this point.
When was the game patched. I just turned it on a few hours ago, and found the same Smoke combo that was doing 41% yesterday is doing 35% today. I dont even remember downloading a patch…

Cyrax - He also had a glitch where he could reset damage scaling in combos with a delayed attack on a net or something like that. So they fixed that. Meaning he can no longer reset with a net.
Stryker - Not entirely sure. Apparently its hitbox had a few glitches. What I heard is that “wake up attacks will no longer beat Stryker’s X-ray, that got fixed.” Not sure if they also reduced its start up frames or just improved the hitbox on it.
I’m pretty sure that Stryker’s X-Ray had too much recovery after landing it on the opponent. So much recovery that those with fast wakeup attacks could hit him for free afterward.
Also, Baraka has supposedly gotten a damage buff. Someone who actually plays him will need to confirm though.
I noticed Kung Lao doing a lot less overall damage online today. My mind was telling me “you should have already won the match”, but when I looked at the life-bars it looked like I barely even got 50% off of the opponent’s life. I was sure something odd was going on, got me really disoriented. Like you’re used to having something certain always happen, and suddenly there’s a very subtle change.
They should really notify people about these changes (I mean, isn’t that a major point of a Message Of The Day-feature?), especially if it happens on their side/is invisible to the player and isn’t yet on the offline-versus.
^ That’s what I understood, and what it seems like today. That “patchless system” was mainly created for these types of balance changes online, that’s what NRS said. Kind of reminds me how they patch arcade games nowadays, straight through the interwebz, into the cabinet.
