Now that it’s cheaper, and online is free, you can expect a ton of kids…maybe even more than 360.
i doubt it, everyone and their brother already has a 360 and games like halo and GOW are what bring in the annoying as shit kids.
The lack of voice mail and the ease of using a mic on the ps3 is what keeps alot of annoyance, like random rage messages from ignorant brits, from happening too much on the Ps3. You’ll still get the text message accusing you of being a coward becuase you back dash and move around too much, like I got recently, but it’s way better than on 360, in my exeperience.
Of course, I mainly only play shooters on 360, since that is what all my friends play it on, so that might be why I feel that way.

I don’t own a 360. I bet they really trash talk you there in this game or rather any game as most have headsets.
You might be surprised by the amount of people that don’t actually use headsets on 360. I don’t - unless I’m playing with friends and then we set it for party chat so we don’t have to listen or talk to anyone else. If I’m playing by myself… my headset is off and so is the voice volume so I don’t have to hear anyone else. You can also mute individual players if you want, or block voice and text messages from non-friends. So really… its no more annoying than you let it be.
Doesn’t blah-blah’ing on a fighter cause some lag? Every time I had underwater lag, the other dude had his headset on.
I thought I remember hearing some developer mention this like 6 years ago or so… back when voice chat was newer… that having voice chat does create more lag. I don’t know about someone specifically lagging up the game with their mic… but I am pretty sure that the inclusion of voice chat in a game presents the developer with an extra hurdle toward creating a lag-less online experience.
Its always been my impression that if everyone had their mics off, that a game would run more smoothly. I could be wrong…
yeah i almost switched up what i was going to write to eliminate confusion because of god of war but meh… i would be so pissed if god of war came to 360. I dont hate microsoft but man i want to have something to brag about as a ps3 owner.
