Parrying in this generation of fighting games

Have you read any other thread about parrying on this forum over the last 5+ years ever

In the end, it’s all moot. You cant really discuss this mechanic in a vacuum. People who dislike the way the system plays out will always dislike it and vice versa.

I think parry was handled better in CVS2 where it could be sectioned off and assigned a set of pros and cons linked specifically to it without effecting every match ever played in the game the way a universal mechanic would.
