We finally hit 50 posts!!!
Paradise Arcade Shop is based in Hawaii, working to bring a variety of controls to the arcade and fight stick market. We carry a number of different options for price points in both sticks and buttons, but we only sell products that we would use. That means, there is a difference between a Porsche and a Toyota, we see a place for both of those in the market, and we won’t sell Toyota’s at Porsche prices.

For those of you who have ordered already(thank you) you probably know my wife packs the orders and answers about 90% of the emails (mostly logisitics, but she is answering the “How to I light an LED” questions now) This is also her full time job and my part time job. She works hard to send out all stock items in 1-2 days, and rides my ass about the cutsom builds so they stay close to 1-3 days(We build LED sticks to order, and some of our game systems)

On top of all this, $1 off every order over 25 each month goes to charity… that’s right, we donate a portion of our sales every month. Most months we do something arcade related, but we have donated to the tsunami relief fund, The American Arcade Museum and the local children’s hospital. We take our commitment to the community very seriously, not just by coming up with new products to help the gaming community, but also in the way we give back financially

I have been an active membe of KLOV, Coinopspace, and BYOAC for sometime, and we sell on EBAY and Amazon. I will probably edit the intro down in the future, but I wanted just let people know who “we” are and who I am. Thank you for all the support and orders we already have received and now…it’s time for the good stuff!

What do we carry? Of course we have an extensive line of Sanwa and Seimitsu parts, but what really sets our store apart are the customs and breadth of what we carry. We also have IL, our own custom products, and many tested products from over seas. We also just launched a great little Mame adapter board, the Lono, with 72 inputs and blazing fast speeds. Wow, good stuff! I especially like the zippyy microswitches for the LS-32. They are so much quieter! :slight_smile:

Susan and everyone at Paradise have always been pretty good, the KTB strictly orders from these guys! When things are in stock, the shipping is fast, even from Hawaii. For our next big tournament (Central Texas Brawl III /endshamelessplug) our 1st place prizes are all modded TE sticks with parts ordered from Paradise. The Titanium JLF shaft is beautiful! It’s also a hollow shaft, no need to buy it from Arcadeshop.de anymore, especially when we have Paradise!

Communication is usually pretty good, I’ve emailed Susan on a few things (checking stock, pricing etc), and she has always gotten back to me, despite the major time difference between Texas and Hawaii.

I’ve been buying from Paradise Arcade Shop for quite some time. It IS my one stop shopping center for just about everything you could think of for your Arcade Parts needs. I’ve received great service from Susan and they’ve always patiently answered all my questions prior to ordering. They seem to be coming out with new and innovative ways to improve my custom stick building needs. Take your time and take a good look at what these folks have to offer, I’ve come up with some crazy LED ideas by just looking through the Paradise site.

Ok, this weekend, I’m going to do 10 annodized titanium JLFsticks so… get in your requests, if you find a cool picture on line, post it to the thread with request and we’ll see what we can do! We will be doing at least 2 rainbow sticks. Costs will be 30 per stick. All our buttons are back in stock! plus we are adding solid colors Sanwa osbf, 30mm and 24 mm to the site shortly, we just need pictures!!!

As the run up to Evo is underway… on request, all hollow shafts will be shipped with an LED(we do have color changing), wires with .100 pin header, and resistors for 5 or 12V power.

ALL ORDERS OVER 100 SHIP FREE, just use the “Forums” code at check out. (sorry but this does not apply to intentional orders. However, we will adjust the international shipping for a discount equal to US shipping costs.

Also for everyone with PDP sticks for Mortal Kombat or anyone who has been looking for IL Black Joysticks, I have good news and bad news…
Bad News, IL jacked our prices so we had to increase the price on our website, somehow we are still cheaper than a certain store in Germany, I love those guys but it makes no sense!
Good News, we said screw the costs, we aren’t waiting for the boat and ordered 100 sticks, 50 red and 50 black to be shipped air to us. This is also good news for you because with the crazy costs of shipping direct air from Europe, we are barely breaking even on these. But we are not going to increase our pricing. We are just hoping any MK players who want to can update their sticks by EVO!!!

Muffman, waiting for the ball tops to arrive, we do have a few new things on the way… they are taking a little more time than expected. We have one more product we are doing with Focus Attack, a ton more hollow joysticks, and a new series of buttons… should be a FUN summer

Is there any chance you guys will offer the Paradise clear ball tops in other colors besides the emerald? I really dig the non-bubble clear look.

Bizzazz, what color were you thinking? we have been looking at doing another run of ball tops. the Emerald was because there really isn’t a true “green” ball top on the market.
