We can replace it no problem. I agree, that an expensive balltop should work properly. We’ll send one out tomorrow, thoroughly tested. I will take a look at it when I get it back and let you know what I find.

Go ahead and send the balltop handle back to the address I got it from, then?

Would you prefer boxed or padded envelope? It’ll go back protected somehow.

I had to upgrade my pledge for the kickstarter $25 more dollars for two RGB sticks was to hard to pass up. I am really hoping it reaches the $2000 goal though.

Thanks! I am sure we’ll make it, 9 days to go and only 275 left! So close I can taste it! I’m hoping we’ll hit over 2500, it’s a push but I think I can add in S-plates if we get there.
thank you everyone, it’s a ton of fun!

On another fun note, I finalized my designs on an adjustable actuator. We’ve been kicking this idea around for a while and decided to take it the next step. We should have our first run of these available in December. Instead of having to buy 2-3 actuators to try them out or just trust one person to decide what is best for you. I designed a simple little piece that allows an unbelievable amount of tuning for about the same cost as our current actuators! We’ll post some pictures soon!

Please tell me that these will be for more than just the JLFs, as I would love to see those go to any of the seimitsu sticks.

Also I need to get my share out to the kickstarter. I wouldn’t mind buying another RGB Stick.

Pnoy jump on board
I’ll see if I can sneak in some prototypes for Seimitsu’s also

On another note i only have local pickup for my shopping cart. Is it something on the sites part or is the product limited to local pickup?

Sorry for double post but I seem to be experiencing the same issues that GeorgeC had with his butteroj top. It goes in smooth but past halfway it slowly tightens until it takes a pretty decent amount of force to get it moving.

I know my bug ball did the same thing as GeorgeC and Pnoy. Would screw down half way than get tight for the rest. But after fulling screwing the shaft into the it multiple times it works perfectly fine. I was worried about it at first but it did no damage to my balltop. This was my experience with the problem I don’t want anyone damaging their balltop because of me.

Please note: no balltops were injured in this thread…
If anyone breaks a ball top by screwing it too hard, we will replace it, and if needed the shaft. And we will give you a pat on that back for busting it out like nobody’s business because I am a pretty big guy and I have never screwed a ball too hard.
The way these thread locks work is by expanding when you screw something it, they are not molding into the top. Normally I mount a JLF shaft in a drill and seat it a few times. I am guessing this didn’t happen on the ones you guys got. But please don’t worry, if you want us to do it, we’ll cover the postage, if you want to do it, then we will replace if you bust it. And I will make sure this is addressed moving forward. I appreciate you guys letting us know about it.

@kowal if you have any quarrel with @armi0024 please take it to PMs. Tech Talk is not the place for this kind of behavior and I’d hate to have to infract someone like you.

Well that got messy quick but on side note what is the chances of one led on a pele going out. Last week when I open my case I noticed it, I couldn’t even tell the difference on the outside.

@yellowcan we have not had any burn out after install, shoot me a pm, we should be able to help you out

I planned on buying a new one the next time I place a order. I just didn’t know if it was something I did or if it just sometimes happens.

@yellowcan our general store policy is to cover up to a year, so its not a problem. Just let Susan know when you order

I know people here may not be as interested, but we announced 2 way Williams mounting hole compatibility and classic Nintendo joystick compatibility.
