Little Kahuna Silent Pads
Paradise Arcade’s Little Kahuna is a premium universal silencer pads for small switch buttons, fitting any 30 mm or 24 mm Sanwa and any model of Seimitsu with a small switch, such as the snap in Seimitsu buttons. LED compatible, great sound dampening all without killing the action of the button. Designed by Timothy Purcell, aka Moonchilde on the SRK forums.

I get this error when trying to use paypal with either of the coupons. Currently my order total is $84.40 before shipping and $100.40 after.

"Unfortunately, an error occured while communicating with PayPal.

armi, do you think the shop will carry any Seimitsu LS-33 sometime in the future?

@evolution169 pm me your email address and I’ll see what’s going on. That’s typically a punctuation mark somewhere that the software is not expecting. Usually something in the address.

@zx-tole all together possible, we’ll look into it.

PM sent

I’m on it!

Oh I forgot this link  (two new products later today!)

thanks armi, if you do ever acquire some LS-33s let us know! I need a really compact stick to fit in my Hori Wii Arcade Stick case.

when does this end? 00:00 GMT-10? just so i know if i can order when i wake up tomorrow

The 56 should do you good. It uses the same PCB so the switch mounting is the same size and they use the same gate, too. The only difference I believe is the depth of the stick, the 56’s body is probably only slightly taller. If you want to confirm, Seimitsu has measurements in their catalog, but I don’t remember where to find it.

Ok, so I did find the catalog and checked, the LS-56 is 29.5 mm deep vs the LS-33 at 28.5. Unless you really need that millimeter, I’d just buy the LS-56 today. Keep in mind the LS-55 and LS-33 do not have pivots, so if you like the feel of sticks with pivots it’s also wise to go LS-56. I can’t recommend the stick enough.

I was thinking of using the 56, but from endless searches of the depths of SRK I read that a LS-33 is one of the only sticks that naturally fit in the Hori Wii case. People have fit JLFs in it before but with actual physical modification to the JLF itself and grinding part of the bottom plate of the case.

But I will look into it some more.

I recently made a purchase on the site via paypal (as opposed to typing in my card info) but it says on my account that I have not placed an order for my parts.
Is this because it has not been acknowledged by you guys or is it because of some sort of error by the website?

What do they say? If it’s a mounting plate issue I believe the LS-33 and LS-56 can use the same ones, so it boils down to either you needing the skinny plate or there is some other odd reason. But if it’s a mounting plate, just buy a 56 and get the small skinny plate.

@ZX-tole @Moonchilde I have tried many mods for the hori FS cases. LS-33 is the only one that can mount without much grinding of the shaft needed, for ls-56 its too long (and it will mount too high) and the shaft will be a big nuisance, unless you wanna make a hole on the bottom plate. also you dont need to include the mounting plate, it just adds to the depth… use the screw points instead.

that said, i personally don’t suggest ls-33, as moonchilde mentioned, it has a very odd feel to it. Sanwa JLF is the easiest mod I can think of, just reuse the hori shaft and actuator (or cut down the JLF’s)… but also requires a lot of modification to the JLF body and gate. its messy, i know. PM me if you want more detailed options and pictures of several hori FS cases mods.

@Rictorxix shoot me your email and I’ll check it out, we did switch servers but all the orders and customers were ported over.

Good LS-33 discussion, I will see if we can get some in just to see how they do…

@dej 1 week

It would be awesome if you could make a drop-in, HORI compatible joystick body like discussed above with no modification by the customer needed at all. I would buy that instantly.

Give me a depth, I can get the JLF below 30, I’ll look at the LS-56 and LS-33 soon.

How many people would be interested. I have another idea that I’d be up for prototyping for a few people to test. That one I can get below 26mm, with Cherry micro switches… Hmmmm, maybe it’s time to do a custom Paradise stick. Now where would I find 5 people to help with testing?

Waves

I would just get hold of a HORI joystick (Tekken 6 wireless for example are cheap as well) and use that as a template.

It needs to fit into here without modification (and preferably use the HORI screws for mounting):

If I would do this, I would make holes to hold switch positioning pins that can be moved to user preference (Seimitsu or SANWA style) rather than just have molded pins that are fixed in place. Or maybe it’s easier to just have two different models?

sign me up! lol im seconding everything emphatic is suggesting as well.
knowing paradise it should be led ready too :v

Sounds awesome! Would it be possible if i could get in this too? Man you guys are always coming out with great stuff though; i don’t have enough money to keep up.
