Ball tops orders are in… and one more surprise… we thought we would share this one early because we are celebrating a first for the shop.
We just finished the prototypes, confirmed the functions and placed the production order for a new way to do LEDs in your joystick. This new method should cut down the wiring significantly, make it very easy to do, and allow you add on components like list joysticks, control buttons or just general joystick lighting all under one controller. The controller is a custom open source Arduino controller so people can easily get on and create their own code. We will be demonstrating these new LEDs with they arrive in a few weeks, and will be at EVO with a bunch of these and another surprise that’s been a year in the waiting! Oh, what’s the first? We will be selling these LEDs as “Patent Pending”
We will get into the details but we are talking channels rather than single color vs RGB. An RGB led is just like three single colors in one. This new system will be able to handle at least 50 channels, and will allow for backwards compatibility with our existing LEDs.
I would have loved to find out about this place like two days ago. I just bookmarked your website! I’ll be ordering my buttons from you in the next two days! Love your prices, The prices on Ebay are not too good for the buttons right now, everything is from Hong Kong, takes FOREVER and they charge a butt-load for shipping. So this is a godsend! Ill be in touch.
So two questions. I want to purchase the silent jlf mod but im curious on how the joystick actually connects with the board. I’m using the Ps360+ board, so would i cut the end of that harness and attach it to the board?
Also, any chance you still accepting testers? seriously trying to get my hands some silencers without changing by clear buttons.
Susan sent a batch out last week but we ran out of the new material, so she’s sending another batch out tomorrow.
Ssj, you can do that, pick up our wiring with qcd’s already crimped on, or just plug in a JLF harness. No more testers but the first version of silencers will be on the site this week.
Hmmm, though I posted it. We are working through a few things but I’m guessing we’ll end up somewhere around 0.40 a piece and down depending on quantities.
Just using some 3mm LED’s I drilled into my sanwas. I have some arceye 2’s left over from an old project as well as some uila s that I plan on using with seimitus on another stick when the silencers for that come out
