Springs are here… time to list them!
Howdy Bryan. Did the cost of the iL Eurostick double in the past couple of years? Supplier issues?
Are they listed yet? I can’t find them.
I bought a JLF .187 custom harness. Most people will use this to wire up Japanese sticks without PCBs. I guess you didn’t anticipate some people might use them to wire up Happ/IL/Korean sticks. The length between the segments of the daisy chained ground wire is too short. I was able to get it to work though by bending the ground prongs of the microswtiches. If you increase the length it would make this product much more versatile. Great idea though. If not for this I would have to solder wires and all that.
We’ve already ordered them! Actually I think people will be floored by the replacment!
Sorry springs up Friday, I’ve been stuck in the hospital for way too many hours!
The Eurosticks cost has gone up significantly. As more people are buying Happ joysticks made in China, IL is unable to keep prices as low as they were in the past. Personally I think a price of 10-20 is much more accurate for what you are getting, considering JLF’s are just over 20… We are in the process of seeing if we can work out a deal with IL to get more consistent pricing.
Thanks for the reply sir. Any time frame then on the black/red that sold out?
I will check with Susan, I know that since we are the last us retailer there is basically no US distribution anymore So everything comes straight from Spain.
Wow, that’s crazy but sounds right. I couldn’t find any other shop offering them. Please let me know. I don’t mind the price but I genuinely do appreciate the reply.
My first order was pretty good! I now have both my LS-40-01 and red top, both of which in good time!
On another note, I’m curious about something I heard. Will there really be custom battops for Japanese joysticks in the near future?
Just got my first order from you guys and I absolutely loved it! Got all my Seimitsus for my hitbox and it even came with candy and 2 extra DNK’s!
armi0024, my order #003852 is in state shipped since 06-21-2012, but i didn’t receive the tracking number, so I can’t track the order, please help me with the tracking number.
Thanks in advance.
nice thread bryan you da man…
Hi,
I’ve ordered from Paradise Arcade Shop in the past and was checking the website out yesterday and noticed some interesting custom balltops being sold.
Getting the to the point, these balltops have 10mm threads; all my Seimitsu/JLF-type joysticks have 6mm threads.
The website mentioned 10mm to 6mm thread adapters but I could not find them anywhere on the website… Do the adapters ship with the balltops or do they have to be bought elsewhere? I couldn’t find any confirmation of the adapter being sold on-site or if it was included with the balltop handles…
Thanks, and the custom balltops looked very nice! I’m interested in the seamless variety, the Wico-type balltop (I once had two Wico joysticks that I used with an Atari 800), and perhaps another transparent balltop…
Balltops are my one weakness part-wise… Unless the color is a turn-off to me or something generic that I’ll give away with a spare control lever sale, I tend to collect them… I’ve only parted with 2 special balltops in the past – an indigo meshball and a Seimitsu green bubbletop. I’ll be dead before I let go of red, though!
On the .187 wire harnesses…have you received the updated ones yet? I got 2 k -sticks for porjects and these would be perfect.
I was curious about the Fight Stick 1 and 2 and how they compare to a JLF and the stock Madcatz sticks found in a TvC and Brawlsick? Looking to build some budget sticks and see how comparable they are in terms of feel and longevity.
Also, do the mounting plates matchup to the JLFs plate incase they need to be upgraded later? or even drop in a the JLF PCB into the stick?
Thanks for the info!
Jamin

Georgec, we need to add the adapters… I had a stash of them and while I didn’t know this, Susan has been putting them in every ball top ordered! Some people are getting a deal. We will work on sourcing these, I’ve been looking at some options other than the stock Sanwa ones for better locking.
Slaycruz, our supplier is just finishing of a number of projects and hopefully will have these in the mail to us shortly!
Jamin:I don’t know for sure but I believe the Fight Stick 1 and 2 are the sticks that Madcatz uses for cheaper sticks. The mounting plates match up perfectly. As far as quality, we have never gotten any complaints, but I don’t think they feel as smooth.
Cool…looking fwd to it…wanna have my k-sticks done in time for tekken tag 2
Hey Armi,
Which of you replacement JLF springs is closest or slightly stiffer than a Seimitsu LS-55 spring? I’ve been using LS-55 springs in my Spark Optical coverted JLFs, but am looking for something just a hair stiffer, but not by much because the LS-55 spring with a spark is really good.
