yo the sticks at pali suck. i was there thursday and only lp worked on the 2p side. and i still almost beat someone.
Anyone fucking with 3s…or CFE…? It’s a damn shame in all of Rockland there isnt a reputable place to have competition. IF anyone knows the guy who runs the Pali arcade…you should basically tell him…that you can get a petition signed to show the demand for GOOD fighting games (3s,Cfe, Ggxx, Alpha 3) and the fact that he can and will make his $$ back from tournaments. Far too many people i know play these games…it’s about time someone realizes the scene…before I have 5 kids, settle down and have a stroke…

we do know the guy that owns the arcade…hes a middle aged white guy that wont get any new games because that involves talking to the mafia…no joke…if anything, we should chip in and get new sticks for the cabs cuz the mexican repair dude doesnt have any sticks…and as for making money back through tourneys…thats just not gonna work…ive run a bunch of pali tourneys and the most we ever got was like 15 ppl…the average turnout was 8 ppl and first prize doesnt even break even…
thats why we usually just session either at XZ or at someones crib…its cheaper and since we bring out own sticks, nobody bitches about buttons…but if u wanna try to revive the pali scene again, be my guest…

um it was some spanish guy i think. he used ryu/akuma/wolvie. i just basically did jump, lp, lp rocket punch all day lol. btw, steve and barry’s is the greatest store, everything is $10 and under. all the stuff is nice too, i got a varsity type jacket with the british flag on the back… too good.
hmm gettin some new sticks and buttons on that cabinet is a good idea, but i dun think the guy wants to throw down some $$ on the mvc2, better yet why dont u ask him to swap the sticks from some other machine.
i was at willowbrook mall in jersey, its one of those fun family arcades like we used to have in pali behind bk but the thing was this aracade was pretty good actually, from wat i saw 3 mvc2 cabinets on big screens, a t5 on plasma flat screen , 3s on bigscreen,soulcal on big and i think guilty and a regular cabinet for cvs2. if we had this in pali, hmm i dunno, would be nice

havnt been to sportsworld in like years cause theres really no big tv marvel machine and the cvs2 if i remember was jacked up on speed, try googling fun and family arcade in willow brook area.
Forget Sportsworld, they don’t even have CvS2 anymore (not like it was worth playing there). Saturday nights at Fun n Games at the Willowbrook Mall are happening, at least for CvS2. Check out the Jersey thread.
