the arcade is always open, 24/7…
the stores, I think, close around 9 or 10…
and here’s te update you all were waiting for…
MvC2 seemed to be working fine…
I couldn’t triangle jump as well as I can at home, but that’s probably just because I’m more used to my stick at home…
CvS2, is a totally different story…
P1 is totally unusable…
the only things that work on the stick are forward and up…
the stick gives a hard time when trying to move it left…
down works 1 time out of 20…
I don’t know about P2…
because nobody plays nowadays, nobody was using P2…
on a good note for some, Tekken 4 was put back in the arcade…
apparently they sent the machine away to be repaired…
why can’t they do that for the SF games?
the players are cool, the mall’s the shit (the biggest mall i’ve ever been to my whole life, BASICALLY!) but whoever owns that place needs to take care of their joysticks, i swear i couldn’t even do an AHVB w/ cable tat’s pathetic, but then again again in LA we got the same problem, but we still manage wiht out an assist though, well just rus your shit down and have!!
PEACE
CACTUS BOY
ok, a few of my boston ppl are coming down this weekend and of course they wanna play…so how bout a tourney sometime during next week?..i really dunno where to do it tho…nobody wants pali anymore and OB is too expensive…anyone have a really big living room?..haha…seriously guys, gotta keep the comp alive…we’ve had about 7-9 ppl at each tourney so far and each time was different ppl…if we combine all the ppl, thats at least 20…and thats a good crowd…now we just need a PLACE…grrr…
all we need is a place to play now… i cant think of anywhere tho… if u guys really want it, we have to do it at OB… i kno its expensive but its better than the mall at pali
anybody kno a good arcade thats not too far away???
I don’t think there’s any other arcades within an hour that has the necessary games…
if we could get like 20 people, OB would be less expensive, though, making it a possiblity…
nathans on central ave has a good mvc2 machine but no cvs2:(
ob really isnt that expensive if you think about it, only problem is that you’ll need a bunch of tv’s and dc’s, i’d have no problem with it, up to you guys though-
well…if we’re gonna do it at OB, i want GUARANTEES that lotsa ppl will show up…i remember the owner saying he could double the pot if we get enough ppl…so thatd be nice…aiite…keep up with the feedback…we gotta plan this quick…
haha, I was at Pali tonight…
the machine were fucked up…
but as I was walking past the X-Zone, they were playing the Evo DVD trailer in the TV that’s outside the place…
I just thought that was really funny…
Okay, if anyone cares, I just posted the results in APEX…
you can see them on the front page if you want to…
post here if there are any errors in the names or what not…
but, yeah, only 28 days left until GGXX’s US PS2 release…
you all should buy it…
