ST tourneys in pali?..hmm…where have u guys been holding them?..anyways…so do we want this tourney to be at pali or console it somewhere?..
we’ve been haqving ST tournies on console with a bunch of people I talk to in school…
most of them will probably stop coming soon, since me and RnR just beat the hell out of them…
I’d say right now, we’d be fine having our tourney at Pali…
I just got back from the arcade, and it was fully working…
CvS2 took about an hour of my use to break, but luckily the fat, old mexican guy was there to fix the machine and give me my tokens back…
MvC2 had no noticeable problems on either side…
i guess this means the tourneyz gonna be at pali then… as long as the machines stay in the shape that theyre in now
as for the date and time, im only good on friday and saturday during thanksgiving break… i might be able to do somethin on thursday but thats no a sure thing… time can be whenever the most ppl can come cuz im probably gonna be bored as shit…

ban akuma?..what for?..he doesnt break 2i, does he?..haha, i have no idea…i dont know anything about that game but i figured its there so might as well have a lil side tourney for it…anyways, isnt stop-n-save that place that sells games?..shit, im sure theyd understand that u gotta play in a tourney…haha…besides, its like 20 ft away from the arcade, you could just sneak out…so someone go post this in tournaments…i gotta go back to studying…

I just remember that at some big 2i tourney a long time ago, they voted to ban Akuma…
he’s supposedly flat out the best character in the game, with only Ibuki and Denjin Ryu even coming close…
but I’ve played the game maybe 3 times, and I forgot the code to use him…
ah, back in the day when secret characters needed codes to use them…

So, i might not be able to make the tourney (see my post). But i really do want to get in a little bit of playing with you guys. Who’s going to be around sometime during the break? My perfect break would include one day of pool, marvel, and blunt smoking. Who’s up for it?

i spoke with the mexican/spanish guy who works there… the tekken 4 machine is GONE… i asked him if it was being repaired… cuz it hasn’t been on for a while… he said maybe we’re gettin a new game

yeah, I noticed the lack of T4 when I was there last night…
hopefully the people who run the arcade have gotten some sense and bring in GGXX…

they probably took out T4 because nobody ever played the game…
it’s not worth $1 to play…
what’s strange is that SC2 gets a decent crowd whenever I’m there…
there’s also more random locals coming to play mvc2 and cvs2 nowadays…

well…first off, there no way in hell im carrying 30 pounds of dc equipment on my back from boston to ny…second, theres no way in hell im gonna carry all that BACK to boston from ny…also, its only like 4 days anyways, i dont really think ill be playing THAT much…and above all else, nobody up here is even gonna let me take them with me…keep in mind that 7 other ppl use these sticks daily and a majority of them are gonna be stuck in a dorm for the entire break with nothing to do…plus we just got MKDA and theres waaaay too much shit to unlock in that game…so yea, no mas sticks this thanksgiving…they’ll be back winter break tho no doubt…
