Advent’s Arcade Update:
I came home for the weekend because half of binghamton is jewish and they were all leaving anyway. So on saturday, i was in the mall returning some shoes and i decided to stop off at the arcade and see what’s up.
There was only one person playing marvel, so i stepped up and gave it a shot. Needless to say, it was almost a perfect for me (Sentinel/Doom/CapCom).
The sticks were perfect actually, maybe just a little bit too loose. Ah, actually the only interesting thing about the whole experience was that when i started playing against the computer, i was using CapCom on point and practicing my throw mashing and…

I went there too because I was told that a lot of people show up saturday nights, but there was like 2 or 3 people…
nobody playing cvs2…
but I got a bunch of wins in marvel, which really says something for the local comp…
they really need to get better if I can win in that game…
I was there from 12 to 12:30 about. Only one person played me in that stretch… so it was a bummer. The rest of my time was spent mashing throws on the comp
I honestly think that there would be a really big arcade crowd at Pali if someone would just establish a solid, well-maintained, well-stocked arcade. Remember Fiends? Shit, you could go into that place any weekday and find two or three people to play. Friday and Saturday nights, you’d have to wait on line for 10 minutes before you got another shot. MvC1 and TTT working properly were all they needed to pack that place out on a weekend.
Whatever, if there are any entrepeneurs (sic?) out there, read this and realize the great opportunity right in front of you.
