wow, I just had a totally new experience…
I played Megaman on my MAS stick, and it felt really wierd…

I’m just not into the game as much as i used to be. Hell, i remember back when i used to stare at the clock in school on fridays… just waiting for the bell to ring so that i could get to the arcade and play MvC2 again. I’ve spent at least $100 on that game over the years, probably even closer to $200. Hell, i used to waste $10 a night on that game, back when everyone played it and the arcades were kept in shape.
But nowadays the arcade is defunct and there’s no motivation to play. For me, at least, i liked the idea of leaving the house and then getting good enough to stay up on the machine and take other people’s money. Tournies are fun, but they’re far apart and cost money and huge amounts of time… and i lose in em anyway… bleh
I’ll probably still play the game, but it’s not the same for me any more. Now, in the month or so left of summer, I can practice my ass off, get up to a servicable level again and be all happy, but when i go back to school, where there is no competition, all that will be for nothing. Wtf… I wish i had a core of people who wanted to get down on MvC2 up at Bing-o, but instead i have to settle for being the master of Smash Brothers Melee… like that matters to anybody. The thing is, it’s pointless for me to practice enough to beat you down (approx 1.5 months sucka) because as soon as summer’s over, i’m back to Smash Brothers and you’re practicing and playing in tournies and suddenly i’m back where i started.
Anyway, everyone likes CvS2 so much that it seems like the perfect game to get into. Now that SF has parrying, it’s more like Tekken than ever and man did i kick ass at Tekken… it’s a sign…
I don’t know when i can do a session though. Maybe tonight? Depends on what’s going on this weekend, but Saturday afternoon i usually don’t do much either.
And, i dunno, if you wanna have mad people over in your house and beating you in CvS2… go ahead and invite em 
I think we should just hunker down an work on the basics though.

I really like 1v1 melee matches and it would make for a sick tourney if we could get some people to play…

Hey all, sorry i’ve been slacking lately.
The pool hall owners have been asking me to have another tourney there every time i go in.
Yesterday, Hiro and I talked to Tom and he has an interesting offer for us: The pool hall will MATCH the tourney pot if we can get a bunch of people. That means they will fucking DOUBLE the tourney winnings!
I don’t know about you guys, but if the only people who can come to the tourney are our level, some of us stand a good chance of making a hefty sum.
So, basically, i think that we should have it at O.B. again.
I suppose i’ll run the show if nobody else wants to do it. But it wasn’t fun and it took up an entire saturday, so i’d rather do it on sunday.
As for games, i’d rather play SSBM than CvS2, but whatever
