i was thinking about that particular nami, but i kinda like the nami that fought Arlong.
The luffy thing:
the shoes are the color of his sandals.
i know the red ribbon thing. but i found this pretty cool shonen jump pic for one of the first cover arts for one piece, and it had luffy with a blue and white striped band on his hat!
and i thought …awesome.
Well, this post regards colours in general, but I suppose it can go here.
Personally I love games to be really colourful, it’s nice when things all blend together and follow a certain scheme, but things get boring to look at pretty quick. This is what I liked about the MvC games, they always had a huge selection of colour everywhere, always bright and vibrant colours which really reflected that of 90s cartoons and comics of time. Bright reds, yellows, greens, blues, pinks, purples, they were all there on screen at once and all super vibrant, while co ordinated at the same time. I love this, it’s important for games to be a visual treat to look at as well as a treat to play. Does a masculine old guy have a big laser with a pink beam? Who cares, Cable loves pink and so do I! I also like super finish screens to be colourful and nicely animated as well, MvC2’s is probably my favourite out of them all as its pretty much the full spectrum of colours, it makes me really satisfied to have played the game, a very climactic finish. This is why I loved mvc2, just colours everywhere.
I changed a couple of things up with my Squigly palettes. I forgot that she has that candy cane thing going on with her outfit so I fixed it up a bit. They are both based off two Hsien-Ko alt palettes from Vampire. One of them is mostly orange and the other one is a wine color that the best Japanese Hsien-Ko player(Ego) uses in tournaments.
i hope some one can clear things up for me a little.
i thought that we werent supposto do pallets for non confirmed chars?
ive been waiting patiently to show some squigly, umbrella, and marie pallets.
i was gonna do some venus and aura ones too but i was holding back do to the confirmation restraints
Was out malling* over the weekend with my bro and his girlfriend and we were looking at shirts over at Folded and Hung when i noticed those (and immediately thought “Duckie needs to see these!”). The store was pretty small and my phone was on silent, I just angled it so that it looked like I was texting someone.
This entire thread is full of amazing freaking palettes. This game could have thirty amazing palettes per character and none of them would be redundant in the least. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a game with so much color potential. The western themed palettes(Negaduck, MH and Marge for example) are also a breath of fresh air. Every American made fighting game needs at least one Simpsons palette too!
