So I’m doing a project for a friend, which requires me to wire up a PS2 fight pad with quick disconnects into fight stick. Now I’ve only ever dealt with arcade stick PCBs, which are a lot easier considering you solder the wire into the holes and you’re done. All the of pad hacking tutorials I’ve read about says that after disassembling the pad you’ve gotta scratch the button nodes down to the copper then solder the wire to that.
First and foremost, is this information correct? Has anyone else had some experience with pad hacking that they’d be willing to share with me? Also, does anyone have any tips about effectively using quick disconnects? Any information would be appreciated. :chat:
