Parking option for those that drive are 5th and Folsom Parking Lot, they charge a flat $8-10 rate all day. Also there are two other parking lots on 3rd and Harrison that also charge a flat $10 rate all day. (parking lot prices subject to change if there are major events, however currently none that I know of)
Anyone that wants to help run brackets for the MvC2 and CvS2 tournies on Nov. 18th (or any other future events they want to try and run), feel free to contact me. Otherwise crewmembers will be running it again (not that it’s a bad thing).
someone please sticky this thread. People have been asking about a tourney on the 18th but they dont know where. It would help get some attention if the thread was stickied. just an idea. ill try to make this as well.
Just a reminder for those that are driving. There are several parking lots that are relatively inexpensive around the area. All within only a 2-3blocks from the Metreon.
5th St. and Folsom St. - $8-10 all day
3rd St. and Howard St. - $8-10 all day
These are their normal prices, however they may change if there are events going on in the downtown area (I’m not aware of any at this time).
It is also possible to park at the 5th St. and Mission St. garage that is right across the street however it gets pricey.
Hey, since you park there often. Can you ask if there are any events going on? Cause if it is more I’d rather park at a BART station and take it from there.
Yea, that’s not a problem. Only thing that I can think of that is happening is the PS3 release that is happening at midnight tonight. Other than that there’s not much else going on. I’ll ask tomorrow and post here.
Yeah, we’ll see what we can do for ya Som. I know I felt even shorter in the chairs we had last time. I may not be playing this time around, gotta make sure everything is running as smooth as possible.
Ok I checked with the 5th and Folsom parking lot and there is an auto show this weekend at the Moscone Centers. They told me prices will probably be $10 all day. However if they do get really busy it may be up to $15 all day. Hope this helps out. (It’s still cheaper than the parking garage across the street imo)
