Yes, I’m very salty. But I guess I’m always salty. See my nick under my username. 
Been that way for years now. 
I did very, very poorly at the Activegamers tourney. Sorely disappointed in my performance. I played a few early match ups for casual play, and I was doing really well. I didn’t lose in casuals at all except a game to OneHandedTerr0r (we play each other all the time, so we’re super used to each other).
Then, in the tourney, the first person I played was Evil Elvis, who used Sagat against me. It was a really close match-up, but I lost in the end, 2-1. I won the first game, but Warren won the next two.
Then I played Joe Dubb’s Gief and lost. The Gief I play most against is UltraDavid, and we do decently against each other. He wins more than me, but I can keep up with him to an extent. So I was ill prepared for Joe’s Gief, who played a much more aggressive, risk-based style. I was killed by a whiffed Green Hand into Ultra of all things.
So yeah, I was really salty. I gotta learn some new characters to take on Gief and Boxer. I have no back-up character. lol! Sagat wasn’t a big deal, I think Cammy fights Sagat well, but I run into a Gief on my second match? There were three Gief players only, and I had to run into one of them on my second match. sigh One of these days, I want to play other characters at a tournament. I’ll take Ryu, Bison, Chun, Blanka, Rufus, Viper, Seth, Dhalsim, Ken, Akuma, Guile, etc. any day. Why do I keep running into Boxer and Gief?
Anyhow, I can’t really complain. Stein exacted revenge for me on Joe Dubbs. Good shit, Mitchel. And he took out the pad warrior Gief as well. So Stein’s definitely got the match-up under control. He really did his job repping Cammy at the tourney. I can’t seem to handle Gief very well at all. Maybe I just forgot how to handle tournament pressure since my Golfland days. sigh
I also didn’t do too well for NorCal Regionals qualifier, though I’m kinda glad: the team we ended up with is a rock solid team. Had I qualified, I’d’ve definitely been the SUPER weak link on the team.
Oh well. Back to the lab again, yo.

I really thought that match could have gone either way with you and Joe Dubbs. You Cannon Spiked him on almost every jump in and you played the footsie game very well with him. There were a few things that made me cringe when I saw you play. The Gief ultra was one of them 
. LOL if you beat Dubbs, you would have played me as your next match. AND THEN THE WINNER WOULD PLAY ANOTHER GIEF!
One thing I started using and abusing on Dubbs and Khio was the auto correct Cannon Spike. You know how the Giefs LOVE to do their crossup shenanigans on your wakeup right? So here’s what I do:
Do the regular cannon spike motion (forward, down, downforward) while I’m waking up. If they crossup (works if they don’t too), I move the stick to downback and then press kick. I believe short or EX works best on a Gief crossup. If you have ultra, do the backdash FADC. Sometimes with the crossup you’ll dash forward instead of backwards. BUFFER THE ULTRA MOTION. If you dash forward, press round house instead of all 3 and if you backdash, press the 3 kicks. This move works on what seems to be EVERY crossup move. So if you play lets say a Sakura who performs a reset (or maybe not), you can use this Cannon Spike motion and you’ll hit here whatever side she’s on. Props to ShadyK for teaching me this move.
1 more sorta cool trick with Gief. So the Gief does the crossup move on you, BUT HE HAS ULTRA OHES NOES! If you backdash on wakeup, you’ll get stuffed by the crossup knee move. Khio seemed to love going for the ultra after a crossup knee when he had revenge meter. Anyways, getting hit in backdash knocks me in the air making Gief’s ultra whiff. Then it’s a free ultra. Even if Gief doesn’t do an ultra, you have some time to figure out what he’s trying to do, so you can decide whether to runaway, cannon spike or ultra.

Haha, with people like Yeb, Valle, Justin Wong, Marn, John Choi etc being there, I didn’t expect to get on the live stream. The only time I would have been on one was if I was getting my ass kicked by one of them.
If I were to guess its because they are both easy to use and they don’t have to hit you that much to hurt you badly.
Yeah I don’t have much trouble with Sagat even with my lack of skill once I get past the tiger shot wall or get in close in general. The most trouble I have ever had with Sagat is one who abused lk knee and pretty much did little but that, safe plus chip dmg is evil.
Good point. Now I’m sorta glad I lost. Had I won, it would have sucked to face off another Cammy. And on the off chance that if I went on to beat you, I probably would have lost to Khio given my lameness against Zangief. That actually makes me feel a lot less salty. You did a much better job of fighting the Giefs in the tourney.

I still have Gen’s Hard 5 to finish… I don’t think the Gekiro kicks are too hard or the c.LP c.MP link is tough, but for some reason I can never get hands to cancel into his super. shrug It’s dumb because usually you sneeze on the controller and super cancels come out when you don’t want them, but here no matter how much I mash QCFs and piano P during s.MP xx hands, nothing comes out. D:
And guys, please stop me - I’ve been looking for a secondary. Problem is, I’ve taking a real liking to Viper lately. Fierce faint fierce is just hella fun to do, and I like her super jumping around, lol. But I’m supposed to find an easier, less stressful character to play than Cammy! I don’t think Viper fits that bill, heh.
pick seth as seconday buddy, its fun like hell abusing stuff with him expecially vs counterpickers
the characters cammy suffers gets owned by seth and with cammy u own rest of the roster ^^
I don’t really have a secondary that I’ve invested to much time in to learn but if I do pick someone else its usually Gen or Dhalsim, completely different styles to Cammy, adjusting to Dhalsim’s slow speed is very difficult!
I think I’ve decided to go with Ryu or Sagat for my alt. Both are pretty easy to use and learn haha
for me if im not playing Cammy im going for Chun Li (original Main, in some ways she’s still is) and Rose (i love Rose)… i tried to learn Viper… (so much hard work should be invested = not worth picking up for secondary unless i switch to viper as my new main)… also tried Gen… steep learning curve just like viper…
and lately i’ve been having a soft spot for Akuma… today i will officially pick him up for testing purposes and see how it goes…
Cammy and Chun Li will always be my primary picks no matter what
… you know you could just do s. mp > s.mk xx hands > s.mk xx super
gives you so much more time to do it and you can buffer the first qcf into the mk.
and yeah you should go for someone like ryu or sagat, least amount of effort

That reminds me, I was on PSN playing people in Champ mode. So I run into a guy named “thefuccingbest”
So in the character select screen, I get 4 messages from him. The subject in the messages said: “YouwillLose” “You have no chance” “You nerd” “I will win”
At first, I went to Cammy to outright destroy him. Eventually… I decided with Dan. He goes with Akuma. I hate fighting Akuma with Dan. Anyways the round starts. Jump back hadouken, I FADC Taunt the fireball. He throws a red fireball I jump taunt. This keeps up for a while, but I end up losing because I super taunt instead of actually attacking him.
Round 2 I go batshit crazy on him. I predict his teleports with Dan’s Dankyuu Kyaku and ultra his jump back fireball. I destroyed him in this round.
Round 3: I do the same thing, I knock him down to 1/5 health and run away. I have something close to 3/4 health. He throws a few full screen fireballs, I jump taunt or FADC Taunt. After 30 seconds of doing this, he turns off his ps3. I sent him a message saying, “I like your style”. Haven’t heard from him since lol
After putting down the game for a week or so, i picked it back up and finally made it to G-1.
Have a feeling i’m gonna my ass handed to me time and time again here. lol

I think I played TragicHero tonight in Champ mode, I was probaly using Guile/Ryu(gave Cammy the night off lol) I can’t remember the result, but it was a good game. Hit me up anytime! Same for everyone else here!
Oh, and since I’m posting, even though this doesn’t go here I’m going to post it anyways: GG’s to spektrum, he knocked me out of 3 Championships last night. The 3rd round of the last game was over in I believe 20 seconds, got owned. On the bright side, spek’s taunt showed Cammy’s ass, which, like I told him, was the only highlight of the round!
