So guys, I went to a round robin session tonight, felt pretty good. I won 11 matches, lost 5. 6 of my wins were against Sagat (w00t), I beat a solid Honda, a solid Bison. I lost to a Honda, the same Bison later on, Zangief, and another Honda.
I kinda feel like the Sagat curse has been lifted off me.
So against the Zangief. I’m still learning the matchup, but I styled on him the first round. I dizzied him the first round, barely lost the second round, and barely lost the third round. I think I’m understanding the matching. It’s really annoying :-/
It was so epic all the tkcs he saw. He was like wtf and in the stream ppl were like wtf. And he goes “this dude is on crack or speed wtf… go ahead keep doing cartwheels”
and when u rushed him down he actually said “Dude stop hitting me”
Had a good time at shgl’s last night. I actually beat Valle’s Gouken on the new stream they set up last night, which felt really nice, though if he used Ryu he would have smoked me. Beat Moval’s Blanka as well, but lost to shgl’s Blanka. I think I also lost to UltraDavid on the stream as well.
Then, somehow, I got set up on a side machine where EVERYONE at shgl’s wanted to challenge my Cammy! They called it the “James Concept Matches.” I played 2 of 3 sets against, like, at LEAST 10 different guys. I only lost to two Ryu players and one Gief player. And I kept scraping out pixel-left victories. Hahaha. I got so-o-o-o-o-o lucky on a lot of those. I think I had like a 13 game win streak once, another 7 game win streak, and then like a 8 game win streak against one Ryu player. But overall, I must have been, like, 25-3 during that session.
So I’m definitely doing my job, repping Cammy at shgl’s.
I was really sad to hear you lost your Live Account. I need to get beat down by your Honda some more. I’m determined to face my worst match-ups and learn them as much as possible. I got owned up by two Giefs last night and Bryant the Tyrant destroyed my Cammy with his Balrog.
So if I ever come online again, if I see you, I’ll send you an invite so you can destroy my Cammy for another night.
well, I just got the the capcom fight club event in NYC and hope they have something good to show us. I’ll let my cammy peeps know if they have anything to show for cammy that is worth mentioning. don’t hold your breath though.
Sounds like a perfect character for Cammy players to jump into. They even gave her a TK strik?! I’m really excited about being able to combo cr. short, cr. forward xx special move (which will hopefully be a safe special). That’s one of the things that frustrates me about playing cammy
yea, juri seems badass. sucks no at the event could try out the new characters though. justin and seth were the ones showing them off. nothing new about cammy or anyone really was announced. I am getting hyped about ssfiv though!
Valle has smoked my Cammy with his Gouken before. Though even Valle admits that Cammy isn’t a good match up for Gouken. Valle beats me because he’s Valle. Hahaha.

I didn’t play very late 'cause I was on the other machine playing against all the people who wanted to fight Cammy. But I did play some matches earlier in the day. So I imagine my matches would be somewhere in the first hour.
If I get a chance to look through them, I’ll update this thread with where they are.
i got ragequitted by a gief who was doing nothing but crouch on other corner keep spamming larriat or green hand. it was g2 final when he was almost dead he dc =/
I TOTALLY should have lost to Shane’s Chun. Shane is an AWESOME pad player who is amazing with the MadCatz Fight Pad. Unfortunately, we were playing on a PlayStation 3 for the stream, and Shane was forced to use a Joystick since his pad is ONLY for the 360. So the Ultra he missed at the end can almost be completely blamed on the stick use. I got totally lucky and should have been peaced out, 100%.
They only have two rounds of my match with Moval, though I did win the last round. I still can’t find my match with Valle, but I’ll keep looking for it.
