My Cammy has definatly stepped up as of late. I used to be afraid to oki anyone with a high priority wake up, but I’ve got REAL good at scaring the piss outta them.
Cammy needs to be played super-high-risk-agro. The problem I’ve been having is that I’ve been playing her like it’s CvS2. Lesson learned.
I’m still sucking the bottom at G3 level, but I’ve seen some G2 matches and I’m not all that worried. Besides, theres nothing like making a 500gp Ryu go “WTF?!?” and start playing all erratic when you start spamming TKDKs for meter. If I’m stuck down here for the next few days, at least I’m gonna have fun! 1760gp and counting.
I have gotten my cammy to g2 c and tryin to make it to g1 and ill be happy. Lol its funny once i get past the turtles i run into a ryu who is actually good and he beats me. Thats usually how it goes. Ryu gives me the chills more often now.
To the above post yes its like this on live as well. Lots of sagats, giefs, rogs, and blankas ( but i beat blanka with my eyes closed now thats to tips on this site ;)) but hey we gotta keep tryin lol. Cant leave drake and like 3 others alone up their with cammy in g1. Im coming guys wait up!!
well i was surprised to see that cammy’s jumping HK has overhead properties… and i wanted to know if this was new or undiscovered… i had no idea to could hit overhead until 2 days ago… and now i’m using it in place of an overhead… kinda like rog’s jumping overhead punch… sorry it took so long to reply… i gotta sleep y’know
In G1, you can run into any characters(maybe not Dan)
There are also many Cammy in G1(PSN). I think there are more Cammy than Ryu or Ken in G1. I only see VoFam uses ken.
kenuran and I from srk(maybe more, but i don’t remember the name). There are couple Japanese Cammy, they used some combo that i never see before.
But i stop play G1 now because you have to wait 10 mins for the final.
Yeah blankas are very easy to beat, one Blanka in G1 always kick me because i keep beating him lol. He sent me a message said Cammy is anti blanka haha
Just wanted to shout out the guys…we havent been in here much, but if you’ve found new info dont be afraid to share. seems we all have taken a little break once we hit G1 but IMO this is the best time to spend in the training room brainstorming.
Woohoo! G2! Now I just have to reach top 5000cp! Is it just me or have the Cammy vids on PS3 kinda lack-luster lately? Mostly run away tactics or total Bison/Sagat/Chun(?!) shutouts.
