I lost to a pretty good Cammy player last night (playstyle and color is telling me that it was Allen)
I uploaded a replay of myself against a Sagat on the Champ points thing.
For Honda I try to get in lot of crossup LKs and Cannon Strikes. One move to use if knock near the corner is the cross over glitch by dashing through him while hes getting up.
damn im only at 3300 gp…had some good matches though
Congrats, can’t wait to watch your video. I am @ work… I kept bumping into this VoFam (Sagat) dude either in my semi or 2nd round in G2, pissed off. He had like 6800+ GPs… I felt like I was there to GP boost him… I’ve seen better Gats than him, I actually hit him with my DPs quite often but Gats damn stamina kept him in the lead…
That corner 2 CS (non fadc) is sick caught a lot of people with it today…
I usually just focus absorb all vegas attacks it leaves him dead open…what do u mean anti bison crossup close mk …splain?
And Honda is definitely cammy’s worse matchup maybe you havent bumped into a experienced one yet…i have, quite a few and the only thing that i can do is rush down and hope for a break in defense.
Kenuran that Cammy was me, it’s funny that all the great cammy players on are on PSN and not on Xbox. LoL It was a GG and I am glad you added me to your friends list we should Cammy mirror sometime.
faux123 I played VoFam also, the key to beating him is to consistently dragon punch his jump in strongs with gat and just FA absorb his tiger shots. He really doesn’t know what to do from there as his footsie game is really bad.
Edit: For some reason, my replay with Kyo2k9 is on the top 10 of replay votes! Everyone should check it out. it’s kinda a Cammy slaughter vs. Blanka and I totally look messy(not getting dashes out of FADC for some reason) but check it out!

Question: I am a bit weary about absorbing Tiger shots. Since they do so much virtual damage by absorbing them, what do you do after you absorb them? I’ve tried absorbing fireballs before but I found that if I get tagged by a jab while I am recovering the virtual damage I get hurt badly, so I ended up playing super safe and turtle until the virtual damage is recovered but this turns into a vicious cycle since I am now defensive, more fireballs will be coming my way…
I mean I use close MK for when Bison tries to cross up
I didnt give my opinion on the Honda matchup just what I do when I go against him. (One more thing to do against Honda is to super after any blocked headbutt). I have gone against a few good Honda players and have lost a few due to my inexperience but I dont think that the matchup is a bad as going against Gief.

Probably the reason your replay got so many votes is because you racked up 2nd most CP ever.

I watched how you kill that gief and i fought the same guy I use the same strategy against the same gief and it works. lol

Faux good to see you again too. As far as absorbing fireballs, you can get away with absorbing 2-3 , then after that just jump straight up to avoid them. Even if he mixes up the slow ones, bear in mind you can always just block them too, blocking 1 or 2 while getting 5-6 absorbed ones is always a good trade off. Once Cammy has ultra, she becomes a little bit more scary, so the pressure can be put on from there.
I see. So absorb fireballs to build up ultra meter to scare gats not to spam fireballs after that… I do notice that fireballers tend to spam less once I get my ultra up so this makes perfect sense. gat without tiger shots is a slightly more manageable than with… Gonna try this tonight…
And what gives you that impression now? We have Evildrakefang and jak d ripr, lol but seriously i know what you mean, like what are the odds on that eh? Its so hard to find good cammy replays on xbl.
Hooray! I got my HRAP 3 stick in the mail today.
I’ve been slacking on doing any real competition on the new mode because I didn’t want to get my ass handed to me while trying to transition from Dpad to Stick after it came in. Hopefully the glitches in my execution work themselves out relatively quickly and I’ll see you all in the G2 bracket soon (It’d be terrible to just get rolled by the good G2 players over and over while getting used to the stick.) I tried a couple games before work today and lost to a Bison I totally would have beat if I were on the dpad (or at the very least, made it a lot more interesting than it was.), but that was just all sorts of funky with the stick on that game. Just need to practice! If any of you would like to do some player matches on PSN, my SN is Vyktoria. Feel free to add me to your friend list. Id say its more cammy greats on PSN…with no comp…Less good cammys on XBL but some great ones also not to take away from them… Actually this is only determined from who post here. Most of the XBL cammys dont actually post, ive only had 2 cammys beat me on XBL and it wasnt a far out “beat” i had a extremely close match with evildrake on monday. But with that said, you can never judge a cammy by a mirror. 
Wow you havent been absorbing at least some fireballs? how do u continue to rush when the FB spam comes… i certainly hope not jumping over fb’s all the time
actually i dont’ really absorb FBs that much, but here’s how it works out for me.
-jump straight up over the fireball,
-from full screen, jump over and dive kick down
-ex hooligan only if they spammed a fuck ton and i have the bar (usually happens during 2nd round)
-get realy close and wiggle
and i get by with this because if i don’t jump in, eventually when i close the gap, THEY jump in(for whatever reason). so i just wait for DP opportunity when i close the gap.
i definitely should absorb fireballs here and there, cuz having ultra and 2 bar stock would work WONDERS if i close the gap and continue to look for jumpins.
Well i dont do it for the bars actually…i do it to break the zoneing rules when i face people like guile whos booms are weak but vital to his existence just to let him know i have to option, so he doesnt think its ok to zone me like that. its mental warfare. i make sure every opponent with a fireballs knows 2 things…im able to get past his fireball so dont fuck around with me. then ill sit in his range and just watch his offense go to shit cause he knows its a dangerous place to have cammy sitting at.
its sorta like your wiggle, but instead of wiggle… i actually charge focus because at sweep range if they try another ,even if i absorb and let loose my kick, ill stun them. of course this is depending on the character but most ryus when close will throw out a dp or a cr. mk or guiles throw a normal if you havent jumped your way to them.
Today was very crazy. i beat all the rog and gief, but lost to Dan once and 3 Dhalsim, and some wake up ultra. But got revenge on the Dan in a final.
One of my favorite moments was charging down a fireball spammer (Sagat) with FADC. I think I absorbed three and dashed in quickly(absorb dash absorb dash absorb dash), and then went crazy rush Cammy on his ass.
