This patch seems to change a lot more than the last one.
Now that the game has options for lower-end PCs,
maybe more people will try this out.
AH3 seems to be losing some of its hype already, so maybe…
Of course, there’s that new French-Bread game, but that’s still far off into the future.
I can figure it has something to do with the DVD-Rom but I kinda lent that to a friend of mines for the week and I have no idea how to patch 1.02 without the DVD-ROM. Is there some other way?
Well, MVC3 is kinda the thing on everyone’s mind right now,
I doubt a netplay caster will get their attention at this point.
I think the only ones who’s gonna invest time in this with the MVC3 train going like it is would be the Umineko fans.
At least it’s still getting updated at a steady pace.
I still play a lot Ougon with some friends here, the game is cool, but i don’t know if is tourney-worthy, character’s strategy are too much the same (that’s maybe people consider this game somewhat “balanced”) and there isn’t too much room to improve.
I will say an utopic comment, but i always dreamed that someone can create a GGPO-inspired program with an unique server for just Doujin-related games.
I had the exact same problem after updating, where I ran the updater, then when trying to load the game it was giving me that screen.
I stopped using the shortcut on my desktop and went to the [C:\Program Files (x86)\07th_Expansion???] folder and just made a new shortcut and it seemed to work after that, with the version number being v1.02. Sounds abit too easy to work but try that and see if your problem was as simple as mine.
… Isn’t this a bit early?
I mean, I don’t know how much attention the game recieved in Japan,
but i kinda feel they should wait for more feedback.
Because i don’t want the same game, only also featuring Chiru characters.
I’m a bit worried about whenever this sequel will just add more characters.
After all, they would all basically play the same if the engine doesn’t get tweaked anyways.
But if they fix things Melty -> React expansion style,
I’ll have no complaints.
