Hi everyone.
Later last night some guys were asking if I could host some games (Mostly SF) at my house today and my roomates are cool with it (So we’ll have the full upstairs to play). Right now a few people are most likely coming. If anyone else is interested let me know. I wont be in town next week(I’m leaving tomorrow and wont be back in town until after Toryuken) but if you wanted to make it a weekly thing we can see how it goes. (Also let me know what night works well for you…Yang has said that Friday nights work best for him so far) I’ve been having a couple people over now and again but it would be easier for organizing things with my non-fighting game roomates if I could set a day for it.
I only have one real set up right now (one monitor, one 360, and two sticks) but also have a non lagless tv and and another 360 ready. (also I don’t have UMvC3 but if someone wants to bring it then it could be played depending on how people are feeling…I think everyone knows I’m ass at that game)
Also I’m willing to let people try to take my money away tonight. I’ll do a $5 (3/5game) mm in SF4 against the first four people to challenge me. Come fight me brah! (I know it’s super late notice so I figure some of my money might be safe)

ALSO IMPORTANT: I’m making rules for people coming over and the first one is that you need to make some kind of an effort to not smell bad. A lot of people who don’t play fighting games have a bad image of it’s players. Some people (like my roomates) who don’t play much video games believe that we may all be a bunch of smelly nerds. Please prove them wrong! If you are questioning if this applies to you take a shower before you come to any type of meet just to be sure. I feel this can only help to further the Ottawa community. 
Also if anyone knows where I can get a 360 copy of UMvC3 for cheap please let me know. I do have an interest in learning it somewhat.
Speaking of Marvel, what’s a good starter team for a scrub like me who has no idea what he’s doing? Nova/Doom/Vergil?

Last time I smelled something that bad it was in my grade 7 gym class change room. Toryuken even smells better on a bad day. I’ll most likely come out to the Gonq this week to start de-rusting myself for when Ultra comes out (Warning: You might get Tetanus as a result). About time I started making an effort to get back into it for serious. Also, 3rd Strike came out 15 years ago yesterday; which makes me think: Anyone here play 3rd Strike ? Was thinking about getting some games in at the meet-up if possible.
