It’s definitely a win but this points system isn’t based entirely on wins. If it was 3pts for win, 1 for draw, 0 for loss type of system than that would make sense, but it’s not. If this system is supposed to truly determine skill, then match score should also come into play. If we both win 20 matchups and I won them all 5-0 and you won them 5-4, are we equal?

One of the many reasons you won’t continue improving

You can’t really call people out for not improving. The best way to improve is to play better people, yet the so called “best in ottawa” comes out once in a blue moon only to not get in a full set and then later spout “muh money matches” on the thread. If you’re actually concerned with people improving, then just come out and get some games in. You can still have a serious set without it being a tournament or money match. Out of the high level AE gonq frequents, I’d say we’re all pretty much on the same level, so how do you expect anyone to improve? Hell, you said it yourself a week ago.

Everything you said is true but you can do and learn all that by playing better players. I’m sorry but scrubs will not improve playing other scrubs, they’re just going to learn bad habits.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not mad or trying to start drama or anything. All I’m saying is to come to the gonq, drop the arrogant schtick, run a ft5 without it being a mm and we’ll let the results speak for themselves. We all could use some practice and improvement, even you since I don’t recall you beating Kevin lately.

I don’t mind the shit talk if you’ve beaten me recently, cause the results backed it up and all I can do is try to get better, but you can’t expect me to take you seriously after losing a game, going all “take me out of the ranbats” while walking about the door and then gloating on the thread.

Again I’m not responsible for anyone improving. I come out to play games when I’m able to, I’m not gonna feel bad for other people’s play. I left because I didn’t want to play another 7-8 games while people were waiting on me to step out for a smoke, so I forfeited what was essentially a casual set. If you aren’t down to put your money where your mouth is then why are we even talking? Pride isn’t worth anything in the fgc, fuck outta here “let the results speak for themselves”. Nobody’s gonna beat me and claim to be better without throwing down some cash.

And I will never feel bad losing to Kevin, he is too smart. But it feels preeeetty good to beat him.
