Hello all!
I am new to the SRK forums. I created an account here specifically for the regional matchmaking. I live in Barrhaven, and my favourite games include Street Fighter (ST, 3s, AE), Marvel vs (MVC2, UMVC3), KOF (98, 02, XIII), and more recently Skull Girls.
Hopefully I can meet up with some of the people on this forum/thread for games and drinks. I can potentially host (if people are willing to go to barrhaven)!

It’s $15, though I realize that’s as much as ~10 Jr Chickens. Maybe you should win a money match against MKP and use it to buy Skullgirls!
Ok, that’s cool.
If it is just 1-2 people I should be able to host anytime no problem. Also I have all the necessities for gaming (screen, console[ps3], games, 2 TE sticks, controllers, food, drink etc.) so you wouldn’t need to bring anything.
Just tell me when you would want to meet for some games and we can make it happen.
I’m busy most weeknights but maybe Friday or some time on the weekend? No clue what Contra’s schedule is like.
Friday would be perfect for me. I have one other fightan-game buddy (who may post here, I’m not sure) who I chill with regularly, and we typically spend fridays together at my house playing games. However, considering that this Friday is April 20th, there might be other activities planned in addition to fighting games…
If you have space for one more i have some stuff that has a very “high” correlation with this friday April the 20th of which you speak

As I said, i am new to these threads, so I am not sure how you guys prefer to exchange contact info / location / phone numbers etc.
usually we just meet up and get to know each other over time. We also have hq (which is currently out of service temporarily) where games are held every Thursday / friday

The training mode in skulllgirls is absolutely terrible. It’s impossible to combos with tight otg’s due to their being no tech feature for cpu. Not to mention the tons of uncombos posted on frontpage.
if you see a spark (i think its blue) when they hit the ground it means they couldve teched. its stupid they didnt implement the option but w/e

I know but that’s what I mean, it’s too hard to get the timing for a combo down when Im busy having to watch some stupid tiny as heck blue spark on the ground.
