its only been a month since I haven’t gone. I was lookin forward to playin some sf x t though.
only a month? no way
i think it would pay off to learn juri/kazuya, top tier team imho. damage would be ridiculous but execution heavy thanks to EGWF.
All i see is good news
Its prolly a good thing it isn’t true, the game needs some time to breath before they start implementing new characters, we’re still figuring out the old roster. With that said though, seth denying it doesn’t mean it isn’t true in the slightest. Guess only time will tell.
UMVC3 has so many hidden or ill-known elements that only come with countless hours of experience and experimentation with every single character in the roster and every single move, combined with the research findings of others. It gives the game a really high roof but its pretty out of control. Thats why I like 3S… everything about the game is right there in plain view (minus little things like attack priority), so if you can get mentally above your opponent and not drop combos, you win, and that’s that*. Heck even the Marvel pros still make educated guesses all the time because its IMPOSSIBIRU to know certain outcomes in some situations. The whole game is an X-factor.
*(unless you play Chun Li – then you dont need much to win)
But I mean, isn’t that one of the things that gives a game a long life? If you figure everything out about a game in a few months isn’t kinda bad? Im pretty sure that was one of the reasons why marvel 2 had such a long shelf life(the other being that marvel 3 didn’t come out till 10 years later but I digress) because the game kept evolving because there was so much to the it. Thats why seth called the game a sandbox, cause theres so many directions you can go with it.
Plus I don’t know shit about 3rd strike, but I doubt its as straight forward as you make it out to be, I mean its considered one of the best street fighters of all time, so I seriously doubt its that straight forward.
Can’t really compare a fast paced 3on3 game like Marvel to something like 3S. Outsmarting your opponent applies to any game, even in Marvel. It all boils down to strategy and ability to adapt.
Ultimate is shit, it’s too bad cashcom isn’t planning to milk us more in ultimate because it might actually be worth it
anyone want to come play SFXT tonight? come on over
Lol i need a partner in sfxt, the ultimate game of trash talking n troll
nyeeeeh. probably would’ve been better not to on this one.
So when bison taunts in this game he says “For me it was a tuesday”
Rufus also says bababooey when he gets tagged in randomly i think

No HQ this week, either. Construction is a bitch.
So I’ve been fiddling with sfxt a lot yesteray… and unfortunately it’s nothing like I expected. Only slight nods to tekken with the forward roll, lvl+2 ki charge, among others. But it’s still pretty fun. I’ll try to come more often now… but damn is the end of the semester so busy among other commitments during weekends
