Bit of an update. The roommate that owns all the weightlifting equipment has moved out. We should be able to move his stuff into the laundry room and take the corner space and the little room. There might be some competition for the little room between the other housemates but I’m pretty confident about keeping the space.

As for the parts, I’ve already started selling them at the initial price I set out. I’ve heard the feedback and while I understand the perspective on the other side, it wasn’t really unanimous (actually, far from it) so I’m sticking with the initial prices. That said, the topic is still open for discussion. If more and more people want it the other way, I’ll try and get something going.

On a side note, I really did appreciate the feedback (even if it was late as shit) and I encourage everyone to pitch in.

Also, as per D’s request, I’ll try to post here how many people are at HQ on Thursday and Fridays around 7 and 8, respectively.

you really think rob and greg have contributed enough to have a say on what happens with hq funds? their input is always welcome, but no. every person that supported the discount is a consistent hq attendee. also i think masablade suggested he was pro-discount.

If people don’t come forward with ideas we’ll either have money rotting like we did leading up to getting the sticks or we’ll have to act in what we think are the best interests of the community since no one tells us shit.

Based on the feedback we DO have however I’m inclined to agree that we should find a way to sell the extra parts for a huge discount (e.g. $1.50 buttons? Less than half of cost). Let me know your thoughts people.

I say keep the prices, but bare in mind that the demand is not very high so don’t go replenishing the stock unless necessary.

At the time of the order, I didn’t know what people wanted. I grabbed the two most prevalent colours, white and dark hai.

That said, people will do orders outside of HQ often. Rod and I did a large order from the States recently.

If there are requests, I’ll try and get them if they’re available during the next run.
