Oh, for the MM you guys do whatever you like! For cabinet speed ST, on GGPO, turbo 1 is the closest setting, though debug mode speed 0 is actually probably even closer. There’s a big ass discussion about it on the ST forums and there’s a ton of testing going on. I don’t really dick around with HDR too much anymore but I’ll gladly do casuals!

Nope, jumping as in hitting u/f, up or u/b. If I leave the ground with a special, that’s ok (srk/tatsu). I can’t juice kick either.

If someone is dumb enough to pick Dan against Mags it’s also pretty one sided, but it certainly doesn’t mean the game doesn’t work. People just pick w/e class they think they can win with, which is part of the skill… and I really don’t see people choosing support classes like medic in a 1v1 fight haha. If they do it means they made a bad call, not that the game doesn’t support fair duels. And not that this matters, but now that you mention it sniper w huntsman/jarate/bushwaka V pyro w degreaser/X/axetinguisher would be a tight battle!

They’re actually really similar games… for the life of me I can’t figure out why UT2K4 didn’t take off as well as Q3A did apart from not having as exploitable physics. Probably because UT focused more on varied gameplay whereas Q3 is just straight 100% Deatmatch.
It’s been a while since I’ve played any FPS so my aim has gone to shit and I can barely remember how to strafe jump, but I’m always up for some Quake or UT2K4 if anyone wants to play.

I’ll come out and say it right here rather than do anything that seems like covering this up… Some of the ranbat money is missing. Short $40 specifically. I will cover this as I’m pretty sure it’s my fault. This isn’t money that went missing/was stolen/etc… it’s either money I forgot to collect or it’s money I collected and didn’t put into the envelope for some reason.
There are a few people who showed up one week and did not pay but I was stupid and put them in brackets anyway - a majority of these people are (no offense intended) free so there was no real impact on the brackets. The exception here is Beyleh who took 1st one week. Due to this oversight I will be covering Beyleh’s $10 unless he shows up and volunteers to pay it.
The cause of this is my shitty record keeping (tracked through Week 1’s Tournament Maker file which was corrupted). For the next season this will be tracked on the online spreadsheet which James and I jointly maintain as opposed to a single point of failure we will rely on GOOGLE!
With these issues taken into account hopefully no one will object to the people who placed last not paying their entrance fees for the single weeks they showed up we’re looking at a $190 pot. This will be split:
James: $133
Myles: $38
3rd Place: $19
Based on the current results third will either be Tak or Dev, with history and standings favouring Dev.
I will bring this up tonight but to make life easy I’d like to propose that we do the payout as $130/$40/$20 so that I don’t need to bring a giant bag of change. James if it’s a big deal I’ll cover your missing $3 myself (I’ll probably have it on hand anyway).
To clarify in big bold letters here for anyone who feels like being a hater - I AM PAYING OUT OF POCKET FOR MY MISTAKE.
