Logan, please don’t talk shit about games you know little about (TF2). Yes, it’s normally centralized around team based objectives, but even before valve introduced the dueling system AND arena mode people have been 1v1ing (hence all the custom duel maps). 1v1ing is VERY possible, and very skill based. That being said, I’m open to any MM in TF2 (melee only, any map, class, w/e) or l4d2 (though l4d2 IS in fact a team only game, so get a team together if you want to do this. We’d have to plan it out - and I also haven’t been playin this since school started again in the fall but it won’t matter).

Sorry but 1v1 really doesn’t work in TF2 unless you’re doing mirrors or specific setups. There was one map we used to use a lot for practice (duel_duel2? I think?) and it was mainly used for soldier rocket duels or mismatch but common setups like medic vs. scout or sniper vs. demo.

That said, it doesn’t mean the game can’t get hype. If you have to MM and do 1v1, play b-ball. That map and game mode is fucking sick.
