Ahmed I will tell you one thing, whenever I play in a fighting game I always love and want to do combos and great execution. If I do none of those and just turtle all day doing nothing then I will be really bored. If I win a match and dont even do any combos im like FUCK, boring. But I guess some people are happy not doing combos and just doing normal and special moves.
Also Ahmed if you are not coming to M.A.T. then I understand but it is too bad…I was hoping we would go crazy in the hotel room screaming our asses off with Hunk(are your boots clean?) or Bardock. We could play today but I forgot to bring my ps2 and it was sic when we played last time. Anyways if you are truly not coming, then I hope you have fun in Ottawa with David, Traian and Arun and probably Mate too…

Combos are a part of execution…but it’s probably one of the easiest forms of execution (practiced timing and muscle memory) . Poking is a huge part of execution: the difference is that it requires understanding of the game/moment to aid your reaction. It’s important, but so are many other things…
Basically whats important in fighting games is game intelligence. Poking, turtling, rushing down, jumping at the right time, etc. All those things are important ; but they have to be used intelligently in order to be effective.
Combos mean dick diddly fucking shit in the grand scheme of things.
Think about it: ANY scrub can learn a combo. I’ve seen scrubs that are combo masters…but what seperates these scrubs from a top jap player who uses the same combos?? All those things I mentioned above. You have to be smart. A scrub is a scrub…even if he can do all the combos it changes nothing…he’s a scrub because he can’t play the game intelligently.

“Very well” Void says as he raises his ghoulish face and slender hands towards the sky, silhouetting against the red moon.
“And what shall this newborn apostle sacrifice for the power we are about to bestow upon him” Slan requests seductively as she grins.
Ahmed pauses for a moment, but not out of hesitation, for he has made his mind the moment he spoke the binding words.
“My friend, Ryad” Ahmed replies.
Void lowers his bewildered gaze to meet Ahmed’s.
“What? One mere human?!” Yubik Retorts "Morever, that man bearly has a soul. If you wish great power you must sacrifice greater things, dearest to your heart"
Ahmed’s mouth opens slightly, distressed at the response he has received. He then gazes at the sky immersing himself into deep thought.
“I sacrifice my dreamcast?” Ahmed says with an indecisive tone.
Slan bursts with laughter and fades away into the darkness.
Conrad and Yubik fly away into the distance.
Void pauses. “Very well” he states.
Ahmed immediately transforms into a zombie with no arms.
Meanwhile in a place half way across the world.
