over all I find it to be a flawed and miscalculated article. It is a laymans lament to a scientific problem. it’s true that human beings do not possess a solid perception of the entire universe around them, and thus, their calculations are a bit smudged in certain areas. Still, it bears mentioning that there is still a universe of data to be interpreted and taken into account. Is gravity more than what Issac Newton originally conceptualized? Undoubtedly. But it’s a good starting point.
Some points can be argued, like "why doesn’t the sun and planets get sucked into the sun. I think a scientist would say that indeed they are, but at a very slow rate. Gravity from other planets, such as jupiter, should be accounted for. perhaps the fact that the sun is orbiting around the galaxy adds to this particular issue. If the gravity was stronger from the center of the milky way, and had an equal hold on the sun as well as the surrounding planets, it would make sense if orbital diameter wouldn’t deviate much.
I find it odd that points given in this article include the “forefathers and the bible” Smells suspiciously of creationist propaganda.
